I must say varane is a glorious player. Kroos and benzema and Ronaldo. James was class too. Enjoyable to watch them get a test for once eh? They'll need it as they progress cos la liga is no challenge
Markovic played very well for me... Maybe not 20m level but far more than we've seen all season and made a few of those great runs. Put in an excellent defensive shift too, for a winger. Not MOTM or anything, just good. I really am growing to like Lallana, Can has been very solid and made some tidy passes and one two's. Borini has been good, think he needs a striker partner, just like Balotelli does (wonder what the solution is?). Allen hasn't been bad either, though I think his final pass breaks down the attack a few too many times. Kolo has been excellent, fair play to him. Oh and of course, Lucas doing well as a solitary DM with mobile CM's ahead? Shocker.
