1.40 Cork
Ask Vic 3/1 has been looking for 3 miles. She finally gets her wish today. You very rarely say the bookies are generous with a Mullins/Ruby Walsh shot but this time I actually think they are!

Race of the day is the 3.45 Carlisle.

Holywell ,Eduard and Many Clouds.

Is 2m4 far enough for Holywell?
Richards horses go well fresh and Many Clouds won over course and distance on his reappearance here last year.
Fascinating race but I can't split them!!

15.20 Cork Dushrembrandt 15/2 SkyBet. Significantly up in distance but hopefully with the dam's sire being brilliant stayer Le Moss there is plenty of stamina there. Nice pedigree on the sire side also Dushyantor is by Sadler´s Wells out of Slightly Dangerous by Roberto. Receiving a fair bit of weight and jockey takes off another 5lb. Is carrying over a stone less than he has been carrying in 3 mile races, which won't do any harm if there are any stamina doubts.

Some massive prize money on offer at Auteuil today with 3 Grade 1s - but only 1 runner in the 3 races from Britain / Ireland. The 2.45 has first place prize money of €346,500, can't believe there isn't a staying chaser in Britain or Ireland who needs a pipe opener and would have a squeak (not sure whether entries are limited though)

Sorry Stick, Shantou Magic is one of my two today. The other one is Un Ace, who fell on chase debut, but I think we can give him another chance.

Just as well the BC rinsed my Betfair account then, because otherwise I'd be going large on Warden Hill in that 1.30 at Carlisle.

Morning All

2.35 Carlisle - Global Power 4/1 Won this race off 5lb lower mark last year, not seen out again so obviously been problems but clearly goes well fresh so not worried about the absence if ready to go.

Cheers Trevez

Try a little e/w on each and a R/F Beauboreen & Straidnahanna in the 1:30 at Carlisle. The rest of the day I'll just watch, it's cheaper!
