Since you cut your hair you've been average/woeful and you're progressively getting fatter each week and quite frankly something needs to be said.

Let this message be the catalyst for change.

He was good today and he usually is. He's a scapegoat after every game we don't win.

He played well in a contested midfield (as did Livermore). My only fault was he ended up pretty deep in the last ten minutes when we were chasing.

It's funny how everyone seemed to play well individually (if you read the dross on here/social media) yet we were utterly hopeless for the vast majority of the game as a team.

Huddlestone and Livermore played well today, I would just like to see Huddlestone be a bit more advanced.

Agree with this. Problem is Huddlestone is now playing defensive-midfield which has to be the most thankless task in football.

I expected us to struggle a bit more in midfield today. It's irritating that we matched them in there but lost cos of a **** goalkeeping error and nothing up front.

Livermore played his ****ing heart out and Tom did everything possible except score the winner. Look we gave the Premier League's form team a goal start then matched them step by step for the next 89 mins. Take your fishing rod else where you ****ing moron.

Without the error early on, 0-0 it woulda been. No wonder they're 2nd. best defence I've seen all year. We pretty much gave as good as we got, only disappointment today for me was Macca. Other than that, was quite a good performance. Just wish Jelly was back.

I don't think they would have scored (nor would we mind) if that backpass hadn't ended so badly. We missed Jela and Dawson yesterday. Brady would gave been able to get further up and Elmo too. Hernandez and Diame would then have been more of a threat in midfield helping Jela.

That's always been his role. At Spurs and here.

Yep, and definitely his most effective role.

People seem to ignore and overlook his defensive qualities, he's excellent at breaking up play.

I'm normally fairly harsh on Huddlestone, but I thought he was absolutely fine yesterday. Livermore always puts a lot of effort in, and (like Tom) is superb off-the-ball. Diame is such a threat, but can go missing for large periods.

I was hoping Quinn would come on for Livermore at around 60 minutes yesterday - and play the ball around in the middle. Because, unless Diame goes on a run - we do absolutely nothing with the ball in the middle. We are threatening on the wings, but their fullbacks were rock solid yesterday - we could have done with someone passing the ball around in the middle.

Again, not being harsh on anyone here, our mid 3 do what they do very well, I just feel sometimes you want something a bit different.

I don't always agree with what you say, but an excellent post here, sir. The sooner we can get the injured lads back, the better.

Huddlestone was good yesterday, I've no idea why this thread has been posted and accusing him of being fat is just ridiculous.

He's a big lad is Tom and not the most mobile but i thought he did ok.

I was talking to a bloke in pub after the game and he said Hudd had taken his shirt off, cant rmemeber if it was yesterday or last week, and he has a bit of a gut on him. Not sure how true this is.
