I think Lowe was trying to change that by developing the Academy, but he never had enough funding for that. Mustn't forget that Lowe laid down the foundations that made us look ripe for development by Nicola and Markus. I like the way we are going...may never win the league (or probably not in my lifetime) but we play good football and are a model for other clubs.
Friend of mine played in a golf grouping at one of these charity golf things where Sherwood was the "celeb" for their group.
