A lot of things about this season remind me of his first season. Can only assume he thinks confidence is an issue. Which it almost certainly is. Probably thinks he'll get more out of them this way than by chewing them out. It just makes it more frustrating for us though because it's obviously bullshit.
People also need to realise he can't come out every match and say 'yeah, midfield was non-existent and gave no help to our striker force whatsoever. Lovren can't pass a ball to save his life also.'
Suppose your board will be dead all week again. It was thriving last season but just seems quiet most of the time now. Too many of you worried about the stick you might get?
Not really bothered about stick from other fans, when our own fans are giving more stick. Simply, we aren't fun to watch, so people don't have much to say when the games aren't on.
The transfer commitee looks for players on BR's criteria, and once given the nod the CEO goes ahead with negotiation. The don't go sign players without the managers consent. as i mentioned earlier, the manager has the FINAL SAY. He clearly should have done a lot better. It's not just that he's been a disaster in the transfer market, it quite evident he's clueless with team and tactics. Suarez made him look good. Best thing would be to react earlier rather than hoping things come good. I do think Sturridge's return will improve us vastly, but even if we do, it would be down to some individual brilliance, not the manager's doing. We need someone who performs when under the cosh rather getting lucky with individual performances.
He has the final say but there's so much more in-between that you're not acknowledging. You think Rodger's can just say to Ayre, 'I want Di Maria, get it done!' and that's that? Not mention selling any top established star on Liverpool's incentivised pay structure would be near impossible. Say you have it your way and Rodgers is forced out, who's going to want to come in and replace him? He's just been fired after the best season the clubs had in years and he won't have any money either. Maybe if you're really lucky we might be able to take Pardew from Newcastle...
Makes more sense than splashing 20 million ****ing quid on some random bit-part player from the Portuguese league who looks raw, at best.
My point is that it's the philosophy of the club, not the manager that makes signing marquee names impossible.
De boer?? wouldn't even mind pulis, atleast he has a clue about defending. He'll certainly have the balls to drop Gerrard and Johnson. BR is a saleman, a manipulator, who talks ****e. He played Downing at LB FFS, against Bale and lennon. How clueless and thick is he? 9 and a half?? reverse forwards?? spanish tackle??? what a joker! properly fooled the majority though, into thinking he's some genius about tochange the way we play and understand football. I'll be honest, i was never a fan.
No that's just the natural ebb and flow of football supporters who aren't diehard fans like the core nucleus of posters on here. It's obvious that there will be more traffic and posters when the team is going through it's biggest period of success in the Prem in recent memory and playing great football, as it is obvious that people - non die hards - will lose interest when we're playing like the whole team is trapped inside a pinball machine.
You have a couple of big games coming up. Surely worth a discussion regardless of what sort of fan you are. Its the same every time. The reality is a few of you gave it the big bollocks last season and cant stand the heat now. Nobody has even laid into liverpool though. Limited piss taking and overall its quite mellow but where are you. Og course you are all busy as you always are after a defeat. Funny how you never have anything to do aftrr victory though

I would define losing interest as ceasing to watch us play, not posting in a forum. When times are bad, I avoid not606, mainly due to the wums, but also because speaking about Liverpool when we are playing badly just makes me more angry. But no matter how **** we are I have never stop watching, even though it drives my missus mad because it gets me in a raging mood.
Liverpool should be beating Newcastle but what the likes of Newcastle, West Ham, QPR, Leicester have shown is there's not the certainty of an "easy" set of fixtures in the league. The Premier League has real strength in depth
