#DoItForRedders That's right, the hash tag is back which can mean only one thing: Redders is back in charge of the team. After a ridiculously short tenure, Darko Milanic has been shown the door, and Neil Redfearn steps into the void once again to arrest a poor run of form.

Last time out Leeds put in a poor second half performance to go 2-1 down against Wolves taking the run of games without a win to 6, while Cardiff tripped up against our South London friends to miss out on the chance of getting three wins on the bounce. There is no question which is the form side in this one, though it is worth noting Cardiff have recorded some poor results against teams in the lower half of the league...

The history books tell us that we may as well not even bother turning up to this one. The last time Leeds recorded a win over Cardiff was in February 1984, and since then 14 league meetings have taken place, including 7 with Leeds the visitors. If the historical stats make for depressing reading, then the recent meetings are no better with Cardiff taking 3 points on 4 out of the last 6 occasions. If Redders wants to make a statement, a win against this perennial bogey team would certainly be a good place to start.

These games always see a lively rivalry between the fans, and there will doubtless be a great atmosphere over in Wales at the weekend, I'm not feeling 100% confident heading into this one though...

No injuries for Russell Slade as he continues to learn about his newly inherited Cardiff side.

Doukara is eligible after serving his suspension, so Redfearn has his pick of the side. He could make a few changes after taking over the hot seat once again this week, after speaking highly of the academy in the press once again, some youngsters may be in the frame.

I'm not expecting the Redders effect to kick in straight away here. It will be a tough game against a good side who are on reasonable form. While the players will be desperate to arrest the recent run, I just can't see this being the game for it to happen. Not normally doom and gloom on quite this scale from me, but recent weeks have broken me!

As for the team, I think Lewis Cook will start under Redders and Mowatt will be in the frame too. A usual back four from me, though I know there are still calls for Cooper to get a run in the team. I think Doukara will be straight back into the starting lineup, maybe we will see Adryan/Montenegro from the bench as well.

I think you might end up being alone in that "Leeds to win by 2+ Goals" prediction, but I certainly hope you're right!

Well done on the thread Damned. Hard to put one together on this fixture. Can't see anything other than a Cardiff win if only because of the bogey team thing. In fact if we were ten points clear on top I'd still back Cardiff to win

Hate this fixture but feeling good as the squad should be up for it under Redders. Slade had a great start at Cardiff but wheels coming off and although some say we have a fruitcake owner, he's nowhere near as bad as the sceptic Tan, so because of him and the bardiff fans I hope for a massive win for us

Thanks for the thread, Cardiff is probs one of the least exciting threads to do because we suck against them ... they will be fired up and full of belief because this fixture is normally a gimme for them ... if we're not careful we could be swamped and out of the game before half time ... may well be the game to bring experience into the midfield ... Doukara hopefully will be back and finally he will behave like the tank he is and butcher their defenders

Seems Redders has gone for a more attacking 4-3-3 then, will be interesting to see how Cook, Mowatt and Bianchi handle that
