He just didn't fit West Spam system, he has come to us, SB is playing in his best position, so we benefit.

Sometimes you can have a good player but you cannot play him in his best position. Rossy is a bit the same, a really good defender, but just because we play better with a back 3, there is no room for him.

 

OK - but didn't Sam play him all over the place? On the wing for instance (not the best poz for him).

 

Absolutely, and that was the problem, if he did play he was out of position, or on the bench.

non article, he's doing great with us and they're not exactly struggling..

 

the real question is why didn't Arsenal sign him when they actually could do with a player of his type.. who's clearly better than Arteta..

 

His replacement is quite decent.

 

West Ham had to sell Diame to sign Amalfitano. Both clubs well happy and doing well.

 

Allardyce couldn't handle him so moved him on and they are performing well beyond expectations so good management on his part rather than a 'blunder'. Got to give him some credit for their transformation Allardyce. Our manager is a fat bastard too so not sure why you feel the need to flag that up
