    It's just a little consolation. Shouldn't have been a red and replay at the Liberty would have been very possible if the referee was worth his position.

    Probably the only person who thought it was a red was the ref ...... Oh, and Roof! <whistle>

    It was a no-brainer...and means we can go to Goodison Park with our central defensive pair intact <ok>

    Right decision but unfortunately in spite of ref's errors the results still stand.

    Pretty sure there wouldn't have been a replay and it would have gone into extra time and then penalties if needed, which I personally think we could have done without.

    Good news on Fernandez neverless

    Brilliant stuff. Never a red in a million years. Great to have him for the Everton game. Of our league matches this month, this has to be the one that we target 3 points from.

    Nothing lucky about it Roof - it was never a red. I admire you for sticking to your guns though. <ok>

    Unusual stance by the FA on Monk but glad of it. Never seen that reaction before.

    I'm still f**ing disgusted by it though.

    To me - it was a more important match than this weekends. We will lose matches in the league again this season, and we will also win games. A single match in the league at this stage is not the nail in any coffin, however - we are out of the cup now - it's final

    You're not wrong, Stereo. It may well have had an outcome on the game, we'll never know.

    Well the ref stuck to his guns as well - but I don't see us admiring him. :confused:

    Roof =/= Ref

    Roof's opinion didn't affect the result. The ref's may have.

    Is Roof the Ref?

    Perhaps the 3 match ban that Fernandez has avoided should now be transferred to the ref? <ok>
