Interesting point, I'm pretty sure when the stadium opened the sponsorship by KC was for 10 years. Did they renew and was it announced? It would be odd for it to change now now but plenty of stadia do.
I cant see the need for a face slap OLM... Come on we all know "Hull City Association Football Club (Tigers) Ltd turnstile" is a bit of a mouthful. For those visiting supporters asking it would take them longer to ask where it is than to get to their seat after going through! Especially with our stewards, they would want it word for word or they wouldn't tell them. Also maybe the machine could only take one word and Tigers was the easiest one. After all "Hull Turnstile" would label us in with the egg chasers. And NOBODY wants that!
It'll be fun as soon as someone gets their bag strap caught on the turnstile, takes 5 seconds to free it and then can't enter. Or some older person who takes a few seconds with failing eyesight to see that it's already said enter and gets locked out by the time they realise.
It's a shambles anyway, with people coming from the north having to use the south turnstiles, passing people from the south having to use the north then crossing each other on the concourse heading for their seats.
I can see a few a little infirm people that are not quite on the ball not getting through because of this 5 second business, probably me lol
Hang on.... At the South side of the East stand there are people there who scan it for you. We haven't scanned it ourselves since they were first installed. Is this the same at all other turnstiles or are we just the thickos?
