    Good Morning Everyone,

Redders has verbally agreed to take the reigns at Elland Road, well, verbally anyway!!!

He has received the assurances over his future he was seeking from Cellino. If it believed that if things don't work out, there is a proviso that Redfearn will revert to his academy position.

Redders said: “I had a meeting with Massimo. Nothing has been put down in concrete and I just wanted to see how he saw it and how he viewed me going forward.

“He said: ‘Look, I see you here for the long haul, I want you here with me.’

“I am stepping up taking the first team, but the bottom line is he sees me there for the long haul.’

“The conversation I had with him was whether he sees me as a head coach and that’s it or as a head coach who – if it goes wrong – might go back in the Academy for a bit. But he sees me here for the long haul with him and I have got to take on his word. “If I am going to be here for the long haul and I don’t mind committing myself for the long term, then the club has got to commit itself to me. “From the role I am going to take on now, then the contract needs to match the role I am taking on.

“My circumstances will change now because there is a lot more prestige and pressure which comes with getting points for the first team than getting players through the academy and that is not belittling the academy.

“But we had a good conversation. I don’t think anything (contract) will be finalised this week, to be honest and I am very mindful of the Saturday game.

I want to get this week done, the training right and the lads upbeat. “Massimo has said what he is looking to do and sees it as a long-term project and me as part of that.

“I honestly believe him and the stuff he has said before, he has done and been right with me.

“Obviously, from my point of view, things have got to be right for me.

Redders went on to say he has someone in mind to take the assistant role, but would not discuss who!

Meanwhile Leeds Utd have denied claims that Milanic has not been asked, and is simply on gardening leave.

Phil Hay's tweet, seems to be quite conclusive :-

Regardless of what Milanic says, Leeds say he's been formally sacked. Gone, finito etc.

Morning all - Reading between the lines of what Redfearn has to say it does sound like Cellino wants him in charge without the pay packet that goes with it, no surprise I guess.

I still see a twist in the tale. I wouldn't be surprised if Redfearn is only caretaker again and Cellino finds another cheap foreign replacement. There's to much going on with this saga day to day and it seems he's stalling on Redfearn becoming a permanent choice

I think Cellino has received a lot of grief about his last couple of appointments. He knows we need consistency.

Good morning Matt from a sunny Cote de BardseyI see that Redders is the new stool pidgeon and I wish him well
I think that Cellino loves the club and the supporters and thgis is the reason why he wants things done quickly lets hope this appointment works
We still need to get rid of some deadwood Hunt White Ajose Tonge and Norris for a start this will take a lot of pressure off the cah flow so lets hope these pl,ayers are released soon

Morning Mike, would you class Ajose as dead wood?

Be interesting to see who Redders plays in midfield? I think he is a Dawson fan?

    Morning all <ok>

Don't think we are going to see a proper resolution to this saga for a little while yet. In the meantime all we can hope is that Redders gets the players firing again and we stop this slump on Saturday against a Cardiff team who have had their own blips to worry about this season.

Anyone listen to 5 live 606? Just caught up on the podcast and they had a 12 year old Leeds fan phone in telling Robbie Savage how it is. Quality <laugh>

There's a clip of it on bbc website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p029dt2r

That 12 year old caller was fantastic! Best thing was he actually spoke relative sense which is surprising for the majority of callers that ring that show

True, one of those strange addictions for me. I constantly shake my head in disbelief at the stupidity of most of the callers, and I can't stand Robbie Savage - but I list every week without fail!

I travel down to Portsmouth from Bury every weekend for work and I download the 606 podcast for the drive down on a Sunday night. I'm not Savages biggest fan either but he's better than Ian Wright on the Sunday night version!

Morning all. For numerous reasons, its obvious Cellino doesnt want to do us any harm, The coach appointments have been flops but he didn't deliberately sign flops. The worrying thing is it seems to be one area he's not good at. Sorting finances, finding players, selling players, full marks in all those areas. Getting a coach, clueless there so far. Its worrying because it doesn't matter how healthy the finances are or how good the squad is, the crucial link is the one he's struggling most with. However, no point in losing sleep over it yet, its his baby to sort
