Sacking Milanic Right thing to do
Appointing Redfearn Short term Ok.... Long term Not too sure.... need a manager who knows the Championship is tactically astute..always thought Jackett is a decent manager and a humble man.,,,, the amount Cellino is paying in compensation to managers.. sorry ex managers he is better off poaching someone.

If Cellino has to keep Milanic on the payrole for two years, maybe he'll use him at the club in a different role, like a scout or at the academy?

How many of these ex players were in the trenches with us for the last dozen years. FOOKING NONE OF THEM because they were all scared of Bates. If they were so bothered why not put money into the club when we were going into administration those 3 fooking times. Nice of all these so called ex players, big name big money boys who DID FARK ALL AND SAID FARK ALL. EVEN WHEN BATES WAS RAPING AND RIMMING, AND HARVEY TAKES THE TOP JOB AT THE FL, THEY ALL KEEP QUIET.

12 years guys and this is the first time I've seen someone put money in and not take it out like their own personal piggy bank.

we will not get anywhere under Cellino, this is clear now ... we will probably be better off without him

Italy .. he can be eccentric and its viewed as okay because at a small club like Cagliari nobody gives a **** as long as they're one place off relegation each season .. you can buy average players for little money and avoid relegation comfortably .. interference from the top is the norm

England .. running a huge club like Leeds means the spotlight is always there .. stability is critical for success .. Cellino having a major influence on selection and tactics is diabolical .. having a coach instead of a manager is a disaster in terms of winning things .. manager having no say on player recruitment won't win titles, ask Spurs

This is not an unusual situation in a sacking. Chelski have done the same thing with Di Matteo. The idea is to not pay up the full contract in one go. You pay the wages until they take up a new job when the payments stop. Di Matteo hasn't done that but he will be paid an enormous amount compared to DM. Unless we are paying him enough to never work again and retire then two years out of the game is a long time. MC is guessing he will want to work at another club at which point the payments stop. If it's next week you save the best part of two years compensation. I'm sure we don't pay as much as chelski. Was he given long enough is a separate debate.
