Well it had to happen, with them up the road winning. Now they will finally wake up and change their ways at Palace next Monday they better had or we might go adrift again.
A draw will do me at the minute! Cant help but feel a total uninspiring defeat is on the cards though! I cant imagine us getting a lift like the one the town just got today! And the fact that its on a probably dreary Monday night, on the telly, at Selhurst Park, doesnt fill me with confidence!
Remember, it is not how we start it is how we finish. Surely there are too many teams within 3 points of ourselves to start saying we are in danger of getting cut off if we do not beat Palace? That said, I'm not confident of Poyet turning it round anytime soon.......he will though.
3 point of 10th 6 points off 5th, hardly panic time. It's ****ing October, I don't give a flying **** if we're in the bottom 3
Bottom 3 was hooligans island wasn't it? Well in the live shows. Bottom Series 3 is just Series 3. Richie: Let's just be economical with the truth, errrm, something, buck, yeah hot young buck. Eddie: What about badger? Richie: No, no I'm more a sort of... Eddie: HEDGHOG! Richie: No fox! That's good, no that is good. Eddie: Stoat! Richie: Foxy Stoat? Yeah! It's gotta a ring to it... foxy stoat seeks... Eddie: Pig! Richie: Foxy Stoat Seeks Pig! Oh Shut up Eddie!
Hooligans island is ****ing class...one of the best comedy plays ever... where did this bunker come from....as eddie has already drank all the jap booze

No, that sort of arithmetic doesn't work. We're six points off 5th providing Leicester, Palace, Villa, Newcastle, West Brom, Tottenham, Stoke, Hull, Everton, Liverpool, Man. U., and Swansea all lose two in a row (which can't happen because some of them play each other) and we win two in a row (which we haven't done since May 7th). I agree it's too early to panic, but it's never a good time to be in the bottom 3 because all of the teams above us have less to do. They have those points under their belt, whereas for us those points are conjectural.
Well said Bri. We're 3 points behind the best side I've seen us play against this season (Spurs) who were awful at the weekend and had their gaffer making excuses much like Pardew did with Newcastle and Europa! Only Pardew waited until he played us to make the excuse!! Newcastle were bottom 2 weeks ago and loko at them now. A couple of wins and everything looks rosy. Although, TBH, I wouldn't be disappointed with a draw at Palace Must've gone to a different school to me then Relic - last time I looked 14-8=6 ergo we are 6 points from 5th place. 2 wins and anything can happen
We have to fight hard every game just to stay in touch until the turn of the year, just look at the fixture list if you disagree. A point would be a better result for us than Palace no question, putting the pressure on them and taking a bit of us.
Yes it does, it was fact at the time of posting. I never said one win and we're 10th two wins and we're 5th, because then it wouldn't work like that. I'm not stupid, I mean what I say and it's 100% accurate as it was an observation on data not an equation like you seem to think.
He's got hold of the wrong end of the stick well and truly, I'm sure he's not twisting my words, doesn't seem the type, but he's definitely misunderstood what I've said.
Palace away on a Monday night live on sky. Fills me with dread and I cant see anything other than a horrible sloppy loss abit like last year. I fear the knives will really be out for Poyet if we lose 3 on the bounce. The media are already starting to switch their focus away from Pardew and onto Poyet. Id take your hand off for a gutsy draw and I imagine Gus would too and this will be reflected in his line up.
At the start of the season I said bottom 6 & fighting to stay up so I'm not surprised at how bad we are doing. poor signings & lack of ambition.
