Apart from Bridge, who could you bring in to replace Enrique? I mean, there are not many good LBs and they don't come cheap. You'll have to dip deep into ya pocket for someone of the same quality. I would get someone not as good as him (maybe Bridge) and save on the money and then use the extra money to fund for a ST or summut.

Just SHUT UP Tash you are far too hysterical for a Saturday morning. Get a grip man. The guy's just offering a perfectly fair opinion which is in line with what most Geordies on here think anyway. You're not the only person with an opinion. My mate's don't tell me to piss off for giving my opinion on Everton or Spurs or Norwich, they listen and either agree or argue back in a reasoned fashion. That's what football inspires and that is what this forum is for. Look at the top - "debate freely". Just relax.

  4. I may have less experience in football that Pardew, but that doesn't mean i have to agree or submit to all his decisions.

Bridge would be a ridiculous signing if he's our number 1 next season. If he's just cover, then fair enough, he'd be decent cover.

I'd rep you but your fellow newcastle fans think that Bridge would be going forwards.

Probably someone from abroad, like M'Bengue, I would guess. If we got £10m+ for Enrique though, I'd like to see what Everton would say to a £15-18M offer for Baines.

He's not as bad as some people are making out, but he's 31 next month so surely he's not being considered as a long term replacement for Enrique?

I dont think he'd be too bad tbh. You're overreacting as per Tash! Just trying to get sodding attention.

Yes, fair enough, he wasnt on form for West Ham, but who was apart from Parker?

I'd rather keep Enrique, but if Bridge was to come. I wouldnt complain.

I didnt say you had to "submit" or agree to them all, I just said he knows more about football than you, and he will be able to see what a poor player Bridge is, which is why the story is most likely media bollocks.

  10. Well sorry but my previous experiences with this user have lead me to believe he is a WUM. The last time i saw him he was taking the piss.

And i love how you can judge how "hysterical" i am, on text on a computer screen. I've never gotten physically angry over anything on this forum.

I would of gone with Clichy with some defensive cover but that's not gonna happen anymore, so I suppose Baines would be a brillant signing as that WOULD represent Newcastle going forward.

Is Baines worth that much? He's not that good.

  14. If you think i'm just trying to get attention, then why do you come on my articles and debate/discuss the topics?

Surely if you thought i was that pathetic, you wouldn't give the time of day.

    -Proof.
-Just because I support a different team, it doesn't mean I am a wum <doh>
-Sorry for not being so serious.
-I still stand by my point that signing Bridge would be going backwards.

Certainly not, but then that's going rate for an English player about to his his peak it would seem. Real value I'd say is about £9/10M but in today's market for English players you have to overpay. Shame really.

  18. I never said you were a wum for supporting a different team, i get on with some of our rivals fans.
What you said was correct, but i am automatically going to tell you to get lost, like i did Tiote (the not606 user), amsterdam roger, murray out and Edge, because whenever i've seen your comments, apart from on this article, you were taking the piss, and your comments weren't constructive at all.

I'm not going to trawl through your posts and pick out quotes to prove it.

If you're going to carry on acting like this then fair play, i'll not act hostile.

You're definitely right. Wayne Bridge is ****.

Hard to believe isn't it? For me, Bolton4Europe, he is an alright player, certainly had a slump in form since his City days. But he is a backwards step from Enrique. It just seems the majority of people on here are resigned to the fact Enrique is off despite no official word from the club and therefore Bridge is a step in the right direction from James Perch who is, in fact, about as much use as a chocolate teapot.
