Pardew will now have to change from the 9-0-1 formation played so far

Dummett - watched the ball go over his head like a charlie. But hell there was another one behind Adebayor. Oh well normal play resumes!

2 on the back post marking one player, yet he still scores. Defensive game plan now out of the window after only 19 mins. Can see 4 or 5 coming here.

Sissoko lol...obvious fake , and then to compound it. Colback tries to belt one into Sissoko who's on the floor blocking the shot <doh>

Look powder puff at the moment, no defenders getting stuck in. At least Sissoko is driving forward atm.

Spurs quicker to every ball, no urgency at all from Newcastle and marking is shocking.

Refreshing having Danny Murphy calling it how it is .. Instead of usual media 'never watch newcastle, but will comment about deluded fans' twaddle

    Looked beaten from the off

Anita has been completely out of his depth in CM.

It's the usually lack of urgency that does it for me. As a team the confidence died so long ago it's probably fossilized somewhere. Sadly compounding the situation is that there are not many on the pitch who look like they even care, we lack quality in every department and our manager offers even less.

    This.

Colback has had a poor game but Anita hasn't even had any sort of game. He's anonymous.

The defence hasn't done that bad for me. The problem is its like attack and defence cos we give the ball straight back. Could see this getting very very uncomfortable in the second half.

    My thoughts on that half:

We've taken the piss out of the Mackems and had our fun about Colback, so I think it's fair we talk openly now about how ****e he is and why the hell he's starting every game when he was supposed to be a replacement/upgrade of Gosling... He's not supposed to be the replacement for f***ing Cabaye. Awful corners, awful passing, awful awful shooting (should have scored 1, hit Sissoko with his other attempt). Hook the useless git please!!!!

Sissoko + Obertan + Perez are the only ones who come out of that half with credit. They're the only ones who look interested.

Krul... You ever going to dive mate? I swear, he's the laziest keeper on the face of the Earth. If a stat exists for how many times a keeper has watched the ball go into the net without making any effort, Krul would be in a world of his own. Probably wouldn't have stopped the goal, but at least make a f***ing effort.

Anita... Ok as a back-up RB, consistently proven useless in midfield. Him and Colback in the middle must make other teams laugh so hard they almost pass out... perhaps that's the hope?!?!

****ing pathetic effort. Out of the two teams, it looks like we played the midweek game. Absolutely, shambolic, gutless, timid piece of arse performance. No excuse in the world could cover for that. If the second half is as bad, quite frankly half the squad should just be sacked, and we can prepare for the Championship with the **** youth players we know are awful, but at least will try for 90 minutes.
