To have that work rate to go alongside his talent is special. The guy's work rate is immense and I can't even remember a player like him at Arsenal. The players he does remind of are Suarez and Tevez. That manic work rate and that never say die attitude is going to make him an Arsenal legend. Thank **** he picked us over Liverpool. The guy is the only sliver lining of a dreadful season, so far.
Sad thing is that this isn't beyond the realms of impossibility. If City offered us 45-50 million for him which he will be worth if he keeps at this rate, knowing how we operate we would most likely sell him for that much, plus City would offer him huge wages, and he would be tempted too should we most likely end 4th while City either win the league or compete for it.
Sanchez is a beast. I think he'll get even better once Walcott, Giroud and Ozil are back and Ramsey is back to full fitness. Wenger deserves credit for signing him, even though he missed the obvious CB and DM positions, Sanchez was one that will become one of the best signings in our recent history imo.
Interesting article on Arseblog today comparing Sanchez to Suarez in terms of his work rate, attitude, and the role that he plays in the team. It makes me wonder if this was Wenger's answer to not getting Suarez in the previous summer transfer window. Possible. They are very alike.
Where are city getting the money from to buy him? And arsenal could always tempt him with a promise of actually winning a european game or two.
Whos almost as good as di maria. Seriously though what a group of players we have in the league. 3 of the most explosive, skillful and most exciting players on earth. Playing for 3 of the top premier league sides. And they say spain has all tye best players. Only until we biy it!
Pretty excited by the prospect of having a Walcott and Alexis on the wings. A fully fit Walcott gets us around 20-25 goals from a wide position and Alexis will get at least that. I think a Sanchez---Wellbeck----Walcott front line being supplied by Ozil could be incredible. and with a fully fit Ozil behind them, I think those two players will get great service. As you say, we just need a solid DM to shield the back four to allow our attacking players to do their job without getting caught on the counter. I really hope we go back in for Lars Bender as I think he will fit in really well at Arsenal
Late title surge when Ozil gets back? 2 fit strikers in Gerry & Danny plus wingers of Sanchez, Theo & Ox with Ozil feeding them, Ramsey & Wilshere on form and new DM & CB bought in January?
a DM is a massive priority for us. It would allow our attacking players the space and time to do their jobs without getting caught on the counter. I really hope we go in for Bender again, but I'm not sure we'd get him in January
