At the moment I still find myself liking Cellino, I don't know why, maybe it is still the after effects of Bates and GFH frazzling my brain, maybe it is his no nonsense approach, I shouldn't really like anything about him but I do although this sacking is a joke and has made the media world laugh at us once again... However he is a bulls**tter and he says what the fans want to hear, at the moment he has them eating out of the palm of his hand. When enough fans turn I wonder what sort of side to him we will see, will he get bored of us when fans start getting fed up with the way he does things? I am starting to believe Cellino is treating us like a rich man's Championship Manager game, I guess as much as I hoped Bates would change and stick his hands in his pockets I am hoping Cellino will stop meddling with the team and give someone a proper chance. He will buy another chunk of time with me if he purchases ER back next month, if he doesn't and he comes up with some excuse then I will be bitterly disappointed with him.

I watched the match on a link today, thought we played well 1st half but we needed a 2nd goal to kill it. I'm surprised we've lost another coach,so soon but there will be a lot of fans who will get their wish with Redfearns full appointment, really hope it works out for him.

I disagree, Wasper. He's turned our club around. If GFH were still in charge, we'd be in administration by now. Seriously. McContract would have been sold for £1.5m. We'd have sold any remaining 'talent', and we'd have signed more Hunt-like dross for far too much money. The future was not bright with them. It is with Cellino. He's cleared our debt, and by selling McContract for £11m, we're on a better financial footing than we've been for 10 years+. Look at our player squad. Bristling with youth & full of potential. Very little dross left now. All we need is a proper coach to take us forward. Milanec must have told lies at his interview. Cellino wanted a positive, attacking team. Milanec was appointed, presumably saying he could deliver. He didn't, and there was no sign of positivity or attacking flair. Cellino did well to put up his hands & act decisively. And Giles, who I revere, can go fcuk himself with comments like those on the BBC website today. People forget that it's so easy to criticise when things go wrong. Not even Cellino is clairvoyant. He will get things wrong (as we all do), but at least he puts his hands up & admits it. Who was the last Chairman to do that at Leeds? Has it ever happened?
I think that the onmly chairman worth his salt Whitejock was Harry Renolds the last game before promotion he came onto the pitch and said we sould win the league and everyone just laughed because we hadnt the vision of Harry and of course he was right .he back ed Revie and the rest is history as they say. Jock and Mike speak sense. I love Giles, but ffs he and most people inside football dont have a fooking scoobie about owners and business. They just like turning up, training, playing and picking up wages. yes they all say the nice stuff about the fans and kiss the badge, but at the end of the day they are here to pick up a wedge and thats it. Giles and the boys were legends who got ripped off because they played for a shilling, some chips and a lift home, but even that was much more than the fans were earning. I will call for Cellino's head when I see him rip us off. I was loud about Bates for 12 fooking years when only a couple were against him. Have you seen an owner spend like he has and if i had spent like he has i would want to see us win now and again. I do however feel sorry for Redders because he will lose his job. Yes he did great a few weeks ago but the last time he was shyte and if he fails he goes and we have nobody in charge of the kids. Mind you the last time he was in charge he had shyte to pick so maybe he might work out?
Loved Giles the player to bits but none of these ex players spoke out against Bates when he was bleeding the club dry. They don't seem to have a bad word to say about Harvey either. Cellino may not have a clue how to choose a decent coach but he's done so much more for the club in less than a year than those two muppets did in seven years. Leave the guy alone and target the real crooks
It's well documented that there are 5 players that Cellino insists start, whether its contractual or Cellino's ego, who knows. When any manager has that to endure, what chance does he really have? Its plain to see that apart from Antenucchi, the chosen few (Belluchi, Berardi, Bianchi, Doukara) simply aren't good enough for this division. Morison was your best player 1st half yesterday - guarantee he doesn't start ahead of Doukara next game - a few games ago your starting team were handed to Milanic, but he had to change it at the last minute because Cellino changed his mind - what the **** is that all about? I think the best thing that could happen to Leeds would be Shaun Harvey growing some balls and kicking Cellino out of English football for good
TC, dunno whether you are wumming or taking a genuine interest into Leeds' situation. Either way, your view is very biased. I still do not believe that Cellino has any involvement in picking the team, until I see some actual proof of that I am going to continue to laugh it off because it is simply a stupid conspiracy theory and has no merit whatsoever. If you show me some decent enough proof I am more than happy to change my mind. The "chosen few" as you call them are all decent enough players that would make it into most championship teams. Ask any fan our best eleven before the Wolves game and I think you would find they would'va all included Antenucci, Bellusci, Bianchi and Doukara with Berardi being the only questionable one. So to me that strikes as pure coincidence that they are playing, the manager/head coach picks what he believes is our best eleven and they happen to make it because they are better than others at the club.
I would imagine Cellino makes it clear who he thinks the starting 11 will be at meetings. A few funny things like Warnock being dropped after being one of the best, Milanic wasn't here long enough to know the threat of the opposition I personally don't believe that tactical decision was his. Adryan being dropped last minute after being announced as starting was another strange one. Again though just my personal opinion, no proof Cellino has a say although I believe it is glaringly obvious
