not hard to marshal a defence when we creep forward at 1mph and telegraph our passes and fluff our shots. Hull were ****, and so were we.

    This.

Any score draw 1-1, 2-2 or 3-3 I can understand the argument "we deserved to win but..." But if you can't even score then you don't deserve to win, end of. Regardless of what the other team does.

Just no cutting edge in attack until Coutinho came on. Again.

Note to Rodgers, maybe starting him or bringing him on earlier...

Not good enough, far too flat, no creativity and not enough options when we had the ball. Deserved no more than a draw, although we should have had one penalty imo.

Well done for clinging on to earn a point. Gutted we didn't get the winner. First game we haven't scored a goal this season.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers: "Performance wise we were excellent, particularly in the second half where we were outstanding.
Eh? Which game did he watch?

Last on Match of The Day? I suspect so. Pretty drab affair, would've liked to have seen us have a bit more of a go tbh, the way Ben Arfa cruised past 3, think we should've looked to get at you more. Hung on at the end but I like to think that was karma for Henderson's embarrassing dive. <laugh>

You seemed a lot more dangerous with Coutinho on the pitch, how Joe Allen ever commanded a £15million fee beggars belief. You obviously miss Sturridge though and I thought Brady did a good job on Sterling, who's seemed your only genuine quality player from the outside looking in this season.

Usually I'd have thought you didn't have a prayer of getting top 4 again, but fortunately everyone other than Chelski & Man City (even Man City don't look great, but they'll obviously get second) look rather ****e too, so who knows. <ok>

Draw seemed rather fair. Your boys obviously dominated without too many clear cut goal scoring opportunities. We came with a game plan (which is to be expected from a team like ours) and executed it well. Shame we didn't play some better football though, few promises of it in the first half but second half it was very much, settling for the point.

I'm very glad Gerrard played all game and Coutinho didn't. Wow, he changed the game. Balotelli looked better when he wasn't expected to be on last man. Watched you a few times this season and seem to be missing the explosive football you played last time - i assume that's cause you're missing S&S.

I had a little look around your board and read the thread about players you dislike/hate. How come Owen was on a few lists? Was it the way he left? I thought he'd be a bit of legend?

He always says the same in interviews. He gives the same scripted answers to get it over and done with. Good tactic.

that will be either the way he left, or probably who he played for after he came back to the uk.

i dont hate owen, disappointed would be more appropriate, like you said he was a legend for this club, diouf on the other hand is just vile.

When he was at Liverpool I think it was always felt that he preferred to play for England rather than Liverpool, and he was never adored as much as Fowler because of that. He kept on insisting that he was staying while running down his contract then left for a fraction of what he was worth when he only had a bit of his contract left to run. Then he played for our biggest rivals which obviously made everyone that didn't already hate him for running his contract dislike him.

  17. Re-opened.

I'm guessing MITO locked this although I could be wrong and it doesn't really matter. One thing we don't do is run and hide no matter what we think of a result, math threads should remain open unless it is absolutely necessary to close them!

I asked him directly why he closed it and he ignored me and it stayed shut, so it wasn't an accident
