I am pretty sure he nutmegged Joe Allen who is now at Liverpool, which makes him a premiership player. Adel could easily play at this level if he just pulled his head out of his arse. He is exactly what we need up front at the moment. He would have to work hard and play more as a team player. Adel sadly has not done this and continues not to do this. Which has been and always will be Adel's problem.
He does do well at dealing with the media, and I think he's got the balance right between defending his players, but also making it clear that there needs to be an improvement. We can only hope Adel responds in the right way, proves his fitness, then proves his brilliance.

Well against Liverpool i think we played at the lowest acceptable standard required. I am just taking stock as promised of where we are without looking at the obvious table. I agree the spirit was a lot better Queens but I believe we need a lot more than the basics to trouble other sides and i cannot see any member of the current squad doing that for us apart from a off the wall Taarabt. I like Krancjar of course but he has also gone missing in many of our matches to date. Fer looks promising but defensively looks terrible as well as his decision making. We need Taarabt because he is the one capable of out performing any player in this league (on his day) … it remains of course and full respect to you to let him show us he can … His arrogance on the pitch makes him very special IMO plus there is no doubt that he has the tools to do this. I am saying I can't see him coming onto a football pitch and disappearing say like a Balotelli for example … i am super confident he will contribute a moment of magic for us given the chance … We all know by know that it's these little snippets of magic that turn games
I'd actually predict that our win ratio with Adel starting in the Premier League is higher than with most other players. This would be by virtue of being involved in the "great escape" under Hughes and being in the Fulham and Chelsea teams that won under Arry. He has been out of the side for long spells where we've struggled (presumably as we go back to basics and pick eleven "battlers").
