DONCASTER 330 5 places RED PIKE has been moving very well lately , goes really well with Mulrennan and looks weighted nicely for this. 365 are offering 11s ew

    Some interesting animals around today:-

Penang Paparaja is Harbinger's full brother and making his debut at Doncaster (2.55). From this ( http://youtu.be/XDlxC8QtXdM ) it looks as if he can gallop if nothing else: he's the one in the black/grey cap (his two companions have picked up 3 races between them).

Perrault, who runs at Newbury (2.45), is a Rip Van Winkle 2yo out of the attractive Daylami mare La Persiana (who just happens to be a half-sister to the champion 2yo Grand Lodge, who went on to be a really good 3yo: if only winning the St James Palace Stakes). One question.....who is Oscar Pereira?

Yarrow runs for a second time at Doncaster (1.50). Significant that she's come out again as Stoute often keeps his fillies in cotton wool. By Sea the Stars and a half sister to Golan and Tartan Bearer she is worth a lot of money.

    Today's football bet

Toulouse to beat Lens @ 6/10

Unbeaten at home with wins over Lyon and a draw with PSG in them 4 games against a Lens side who have lost 4 out of there last 5 games

    Morning all,

Guys in the 1-50 @ Donny Speedy Boarding has come in from 33's to 11/1.

    RP s
ays "Trainers eight 2 year old newcomers this year have all been unplaced"

Any thoughts on why such a big move please?

Since I started writing this post now into 8/1.

Well it's very well bred 55282 (grandaughter of star-miler Milligram and great grand-daughter of 1000G winner One in a Million) and being by Shamardal should go in the soft. Retained by the stud so likely to have some ability as they only keep 2-3 fillies every year. Mr job Tylicki is on it as well.
But looks a tough race with Star of Seville and Yarrow.

Very curious betting market, that 1.50 at Donny, as those bookie chappies are currently going around 8/15, combined at best prices, the old boy Gosden and Sir Mick runners yet shortening Speedy Boarding with alarming alacrity.

No idea as to why the market move is taking place (beyond the fact that someone obviously rates Speeding Boarding). Her half brother did though sell earlier this month for a whopping 800,000 gns. In contrast Speedy Boarding, a year earlier was led unsold out of the old sales ring at 95,000 gns!

Its a strange one City, 3 or 4 being backed in the race against her so dont think its anything to do with her, id be more worried about Dreamlike than Gosdens although thats purely on form, this is a maiden afterall. Amber Mile looks overpriced at 33/1.

I agree with Boris Amber Mile does look over priced, however so does Mythical Moment at 16s so that's where my EW money is going

Well Gosdens improved about a stone from its first run, at least.

    Yarrow for the Oaks <laugh>

Think these maidens are for watching, rather than betting in, for the ones that work out there are 4 or 5 that dont.
