Curtis Davies admits that after again being left out of Roy Hodgson's squad, his ambitions to play for England are probably over... http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/9531319/davies-england-hopes-?
He probably has the same opinion of Woy that most people in England have. Last season Curtis deserved a call-up, as did Thudd among other players playing at clubs not considered 'big enough'. Sadly for them, we have an idiots in charge of both the FA and England.
oh no, what will we do? We can't risk one of our top players getting injured, we will only be able to rest them during international breaks! There is a club V country row with every international. We will only have to struggle to hold onto them when bigger clubs come in for them. I know shearer reckons that we are an established BPL team, but realistically, we have won **** all - our greatest achievement domestically was an FA Cup final and a trip into Europe that was rather disappointing, to say the least. Until we survive for at least 5 seasons and we get some silverware, all this talk of England internationals playing for us is merely a pipedream.
I don't agree about the internationals part but there is a tiny bit of sense in here, where you talk about people having unrealistic expectations, I've seen it on here today with people slating our own players Aluko and Bruce, lets get some realism here for a change
