Do you have to have an IQ under 30 to actually get airtime on Radio Humberside ? I was listening to a numpty on the Burnsy show yesterday morning & it was following the news about Swanland to which he was supposed to be commenting...... the problem was that was the one thing he didn't comment about & then statement after statement said one thing & then exactly the opposite !! Where do they find these people ? How can you phone in about a subject then not mention it & manage to talk for 10 minutes without anything remotely credible coming out of your mouth, and Burnsy just letting him carry on & telling him to call again when any of the topics (or non topics) he went on about were next aired !!
It's called good radio when a numpty comes on and fills dead air space because of the lack of credible people.
To be fair if you have time to listen and phone in during the day you are probably a pensioner with nothing else to do
If I'm driving I just change channel until I find a decent song, then they'll start talking **** and I'll change again! Life is way too short to listen to angry albert from hessle who's bin hasn't been emptied!
Likewise, I listen to Burnsy while driving in the morning, usually get RH until around 10.30 when I move out of signal range, generally the local stuff is OK until the numpties phone in
