Heard today that excellent talented winger .Jordan islip have left Swansea city Fc youth set up. Toshack haven't played him for 2 months I heard. He only played 4 games for youth since start of season. and score 3. Was Toshack up 2? He's not developing boys doing that. Carnt force young players out of club that standard. I think more boys will be following...! Changes need 2 be made.
I heard about this lad.. Really talented boy. I heard he walked out of swans youth set up aswell he was unhappy the way he was treated. I blame toshack if this boy makes a name for is self at another pro club... Swans will only get development money and that will be nothing. If its true how good he can be.. Huw jenkins needs 2 sort youth set up with proper coaches..
An age-old problem for the Swans, unfortunately. The lad probably doesn't have a dad in the old boys network.
seems to be the eternal problem in kids football everywhere Dragon regardless of how good you are. I remember as a kid the manager was playing his son instead of a far better player, I had a go at him and went to play senior football at 15 as I was totally pis+ed off with the setup, it must happen everywhere
I think its sad news when our future players ...Is not getting the development which they deserves.. Toshack and is set up out.! Get in Hartson as leading youth coach soon... Watch the difference if he was main man. He knows what's he's doing! Swans un18 youth is bottom of there league I heard. Was going on? And young islip leaving?
Not good , were getting a lot in place for the young players of late , seems a new guy to lead them should be in place. Not a big name , just a good influence that can bring the best out in young players
What I am hearing Toshack will be gone soon.. He haven't got a clue. In the mean time he's destroying talented youth team. I think he personally got the job because of is dads name in football and with johns name at club Not because he good at coaching... Which is showing because boys leaving and we bottom of youth league says it all really.. Sort it out huw....
Nobody knows why he left. he could have been kicked out for some reason, we dont know or we dont know how the youth set up is run but they have had plenty of praises from everyone in the swansea set up.....why fans speculate and think the youth set up is not run professionally because they dont know what goes on is beyond me.....
I heard he thought he was a superstar and wanted to be treated as such but wouldn't do the work. I heard his "Daddy", probably seeing his boy as a pay-cheque, was a disruptive influence on the sidelines by aggressively vented at the coaches irrespective of the feelings of the parents around him. His mantra was that his boy was "too good to be training with kids". I heard the boy was not popular with the rest of u18 squad because they often had to stop training when the coaches had to deal with the boy and his daddy. I also heard that they are so happy he ran. Just what I've heard; its amazing what you hear when you listen.
