Turns out his 'sale' of Caterham was a bit dodgy. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/formula-one/29733418 Highly unprofessional stuff. On the plus side he is investing £200m expanding his Tune Hotel chain in the UK. So he's not skint. Yet.
If Fernandes has taken the money and not transferred the shares there's a problem. If Fernandes hasn't been paid there's also a problem as surely Caterham reverts to him with all its problems. It's all about the brand according to Tony. http://forums.autosport.com/topic/193907-caterham-f1-sold/page-13
Anything Colin Kolles is invovled in is dodgy and doomed to failure, he has a remarkably consistent record for bankrupting F1 teams
Its all about the brand alright … he is a lizard shape shifting brand maker … I am on to him. You have always said from the start that he is dodgy … looks like you were right
It's not TF's money, much of the costs will have been consortia money and loans in the same way Air Asia is financed. I have serious doubts as to whether TF can keep the smoke and mirrors going long enough before the whole web of intrigue comes apart and we'll be right in the middle of it. He's fuelled everyone's dreams but his track record is dire apart from the airline, can that hold everything together?...
If Uber were still posting he would get my strengthening feeling that Tony is the reincarnation of Suleman Usman from 'Flashman's Lady'. Come on Ubes join in.
