4.10 Southwell Tinseltown 11/1 Hasn't won since July but has been quite a prolific winner in the past. Back down to the same mark as when winning a race over C+D last year and the cheekpieces return that were worn that day. Tom Scudamore gets on board and i cant imagine he has ridden too many for trainer Brian Rothwell in the past. Hoping Tinseltown can bounce back to form tomorrow
EW lucky 31: 2:50 Carlisle - Frizzo 10/1 3:10 Ludlow - Uriah Heep 3/1 4:00 Carlisle - Lively Baron 11/4 4:10 Southwell - Langham Lily 8/1 4:30 Carlisle - Kings Chorister 16/1
Fancy one to run well tomorrow. Back To Bracka. 3.25 Carlisle. Had my eye on this one when trained in Ireland. Won a bumper at Galway on heavy ground, then won a maiden hurdle on sft/hvy at Sligo. Ran a slightly below par race first time up for Lucinda Russel at Carlisle recently, but I think he'll come on a bunch for the run and at 6/1 looks a good eachway bet. Good luck chaps.
The 11th richest man in Wales has bought John Constable. No, no, no, no, no, old boy Dai Walters hasnât purchased a rare original drawn by the great artist but instead the horse of that moniker formerly with Mr OâBrien. He was a winner on the level and rated as highly, in that sphere, as 94. Also a full brother to The Gold Cup winner Leading Light. No news on who will train the 3YO yet but I know who Iâd choose if I was the 11th richest man in Wales. Whoever he opts for though must be a player in all the leading juvenile hurdles this term. In other Dai Walters news I see he says of West Wizard â âHe's still a real dark horse in my eyes. I think he's going to do very well this seasonâ. High praise indeed for a horse who could still scale the heights. Meanwhile, rather mysteriously the 11th richest man in Wales has transferred Edmund Kean from those old rogueâs, the Pipeâs, to old boy Peter Bowen. Makes you wonder if he walked in on them and found the door of the âmagic fridgeâ open. Very baffling, methinks, and leaves a lot more questions than answers.
Looking forward to seeing if Urban Hymn can carry on progressing over fences. He looks a nice horse for Mssr Jefferson.
Going to have a little dabble at southwell! 2 oo Inandover 3-35 Finding your feet 5-10 Barton Blount e/w Devereux likes it there so going to give it a shot
Third at 10/1. I think this horses best days are definitely behind him but a promising run nonetheless
Very nice performance from Duke Of Navan today - hopefully Nicky Richards has an Arkle horse on his hands
