Far far too easy for Madrid. Started off with good closing down by Liverpool but where did that go so soon? Madrid just passing it at will. Rodgers inexperience is telling.
Well, what to say about that? 30 minutes, probably best team performance we've put in this season (bar Spurs). Pressing the ball, keeping hold of it and then one bit of movement and it all comes undone. Top finish by Ronaldo, but again Gerrard as the DM decides not to follow his runner when he runs behind him and the defence have to react. 2nd and 3rd are the most disappointing. I know we're **** at set pieces but come on, that's just poor. Johnson poor marking for the 2nd, Skrtel decides not to mark his player and gets caught under the ball for the 3rd, and Mig decides to go with his feet rather than hands! Go with your hands and it someone touches you, then it's a foul FFS! We all expected to get battered and they haven't been bombarding us with chances. They've had what, 4 chances? 3 of them have resulted in goals and 2 of them were poor set pieces.
