Oh yeah, forgot this was an internet forum where people can just make up anything they want.

Have only been to the Emirates twice, in the away end.
Went to Highbury plenty of times and sat with you gooners.
Last time was in 98 I think it was, you beat Man United 3-2. Went 2-0 up they clawed back to 2-2 then you won it with a looping header by David Platt if I recall.

I've got to say I'm surprised with that list, one I figured that Diaby would be out on his own way in front (when is his funeral by the way?). I can imagine Walcott being up near the top, I don't think he's ever fully recovered from Pearce trying to break him by getting to play in as many pointless games as possible in the summers/when he's just coming back from injury, especially after a full season of playing.

I thought Clichy would be a lot higher up the list, he seemed to always have a niggling injury to me, also I thought Ramsey would be a lot higher considering how much he's missed.

Diaby is injured out for longer periods whereas Walcott picks up injuries at a more consistent rate. Walcott used to pick up injuries more frequently when he was younger but they are still too frequent it appears. His latest injury has been a very lengthy one. Now we can see why we've struggled to maintain a challenge. Our injury record is appalling and these players would have made a big difference to the club, instead they've been perpetually injured.

Speaking of Diaby and Walcott, the former has played quite a bit of games in the U21s now. Maybe its time to call him back to the first team. And Theo should be on the bench for Anderlecth. I'd like to see him get 10-20 minutes.

    Which exactly proves my point.

If you buy from a Big Club you will be paying much higher wages.

What sort of point is that though? Isn't the key point here that world class players don't have to have sky high wages?

Depends on the source. A Google search on both gives figures of £150k per week for Costa and £140k per week for Ozil.
