Has been a lot of rumours that he has dodgy ham strings, i so hope it is not true as i really think he could be the difference between 1st or 2nd, surely they would not of bought him if he was a crock?

Looks more like simply not enough rest. His hamstring has been injured for too long and there is no magic cure except rest. Dodgy hamstrings, per say, are often linked to lower back and facet joint problems. Usually specialised treatment can fix this, absolutely positive our medicos are on the case.

He is no crock, he has a hamstring problem which has not had any real time to recover but is obviously just a pull and not a tear (he wouldn`t be able to play at all). This should really have complete reast for 3/4 weeks but Jose is trying to manage it by lightening his training. It could tear if he pushes himself too hard in a game or over-stretches. As far as i remember he didn`t miss too many games for Atletico so it is not a consistent problem.

I am pretty sure Diego was rested against Palace and will be rested against Maribor. He will be ready for this Sunday!

I agree , was rested as Jose reckoned the team would be able to beat these two opponents without needing him on the pitch.

Agree with the above. He's obviously not a 100% and we should be capable beating Palace and Maribor without him. I suspect he'll play Sunday.
