He has just been released from Watford, worth a punt? I still only make it 3 cbs on our team and he knows the setup. However he is young, as is Winfield and Tunnicliffe so maybe Waddock might want an experienced cb instead.
Now we have Tunnicliffe I think we need an experienced centre back to come in. We didn't see much of Kiernan when he was with us last season. He was bought in as cover but couldn't really get himself ahead of Johnson, Winfield and Westwood in the pecking order. He may well have a good future in the game but it's just the wrong time for him to be joining us.
Didn't really get a look in last season in League Two, doubt he would get anywhere near the squad in League One. If we want to push on an experienced League One centre back is an obvious choice.
I think we need an experienced CB to be honest. Nothing against the lad but I agree, wrong time to come to us.
OK I'll throw my hat in the ring, I won player of the season when I was in the cubs, that was nearly 30 years ago, how's that for experience, I'm just what they need, great cover and I'll push for a starting spot. I'll give up drinking and everything.
Was gonna nominate Matt Taylor who has been Exeter's captian for a few years but see he's just gone to Charlton. Would have been a good signing but not sure if we'd have been able to afford him. I also thought he wanted to move back up north where he's from but clearly that wasn't an issue in the end!
