Ok, so let's just give rapists longer sentences. The girl in the Evans case has been trolled so badly she has had to change her name and move to another town. hell of a punishment for getting drunk. Not getting at you, Beefy, as you are talking generally, but I just feel strongly about people forgetting the victim in this case. As it happens, I'm not a hang 'em high kind of girl...I do believe in redemption, but not sure Evans is even trying to make amends as he feels innocent....now that is the kind of person who repeats a mistake.
I agree with you that the abuse needs to be stopped and also agree with the 2yrs jail time for the worse cases. What I was getting at is non physical abuse shouldn't carry the same sentence as physical.
I do try not to covet my neighbour's ox....though I admit I do sometimes help myself to a few of his chips.
He beat Ferrer too, his main rival to qualify for the end of tour finals at The O2.....Murray is now in eighth place and has two more tournaments to gain ranking points and cement his place.
I thought he was going to blow it as he hasn't been at his best lately. A very genuine smile when he won with the ace...meant a lot to him.
Planning a long weekend somewhere in Europe to see some football. Anyone got any good recommendations for value-for-money games, preferably in fun towns?
Well I believe in God, but I suppose there's nothing in the 10 commandments or new testament about sex changes. Family would be the main consideration though
Holland is easily one of the nicest places I've been to. Plus the bonus of a good standard of football. I'd recommend Amsterdam personally.
Amsterdam is a city I've already kind of worn out, plus I'm probably going again next year. Right now for football destinations I'm looking at Dortmund, Marseille, Milan, Juve, Fiorentina. Lots of options still to look at though.
