I hate Milwall with a passion, but respect for this......
Tried to order a couple of the shirts, but we sold out already - hopefully some more will be made. So proud that we are doing this - hopefully the bigger Premiership teams can take note and do something similar. If a little club like us can generate so much interest imagine what Man Utd, Chelsea et al could do - and what a worthy cause
No - His name is Will - he lost both his legs whilst on duty in Afghanistan, but thanks to the great work the medical team at Headley Court do, Will is still able to walk and lead a near normal life. Will was very humble whilst making the video and didn't think he was important enough, but the Millwall lads were quick to inform him that he was the most important person there. His story and life struggle bought a tear to most eyes. Despite being an Arsenal fan, Will is a real hero and deserves much more recognition than he gets!!
That is absolutely brilliant! Thanks for posting this Queens. It instils a sadness and pride for all of those brave and selfless souls that fell during the great war. This was fittingly narrated by Holloway and doesn't sound out of place at all. In fact he does a far better job than that other buffoon, Brian Blessed who they usually wheel out to be the dominant voice for every event that garners our pride and sentiment. Well done Millwall. This is certainly something to be proud of.
Queenslander? AussieQPR? What the hell.......? Seems like there are a few old diehards knocking about in the bush.
Should meet up at the 'Pig' to watch a game, Queens and the gang will be there ........... preferably an early match when we are listed.
