Agree re Huddlestone and I think it was Ben Arfa that provided the pass for Diames goal.

It's early days but we need more wins eventually from somewhere, draws are only so helpful. Yes it wasn't an expected win but that goes out the window when you get the chance to bring the points home. The second half performance was good until predictably the last 15 minutes, the first half not so good. I feel sorry for our main goalscorers this season, their efforts haven't been worth as many points as they might have been. Really hope Diame keeps fit all season we need him.

Elmo got a shed load of abuse from east stand middle eastern Gooners. Not sure what their problem was.

Too many people voting without seeing the game, Huddlestone looked the best player on the pitch in patches(just a few things didn't come off) and once again we played far too many lose passes.

We can't pay without a striker, it just invites pressure, that's three games now.

My vote having seen the goals and especially the cross from Huddlestone for Abel's goal is:

    Dawson
    Diame
    Huddlestone

To be fair, it looked like Hernandez was blowing out his arse, he wasn't much good to anyone.

I agree with your point though, the trouble is we don't have another option up there is Jela's out for a while - can we recall Sagbo from Wolves? At least he'd give us someone to hold it up off the bench.

I think if jello had played we would have won as he'd have held the ball up better in the last fifteen minutes.

Three big injury blows, does anyone how far McGregor is away from playing again as it looks like Harps is out for a while.

We can't recall Sagbo until the start of November.

I thought Huddlestone was both very bad and very good at times but overall came close to getting my number 3 vote. He was an option all the time for a defence under pressure and despite some uncharacteristic sloppiness was at times quite brilliant. After a poor start - perhaps "poor" is an understatement - we were unlucky in my view to not get three points.
I've never been an Arsenal hater and I think they've played some entertaining football over the years, but their supporters and their manager came across as spoilt brats deserving of much better against the likes of us!

    November NEXT year I hope.

No votes from me today. Nobody was outstanding but when this lot manage to get it together they could well be a formidable force. Nothing down the left today and Elmo's efforts were all in vain with nobody to aim for. We were hellishly unlucky not to steal the points (again) especially after being decimated with injuries to our key larkers.
If Jelly is out for a spell and Abel blowing hot and cold we have again fallen victim of our self-inflicted lack of depth up front.

Only real disappointment was Robertson who had his defensive frailties exposed a bit.

Which is why i was saying we didnt need both HBA and Ramirez, along with Aluko Brady. We needed another out and out striker.

Agreed, we can't get away with just two out and out strikers, one injury and we're in trouble. It does seem odd to bring in Ben Arfa and Ramirez, when we already had Aluko and Ince, but I suspect Ben Arfa was brought in primarily as a winger.
