Some people like to joke about the bad things that life throws at them! It's what gets alot of people through it! Doesnt make them less passionate about life, it doesnt mean they dont take things seriously! Your team losing a game of football 8-0 is just a drop in the ocean and is not really important to most on the grand scheme of things so having a little joke about it is perfectly normal, it certainly doesnt mean they are not 'real' fans!
I have been watching the lads since i was 5 years old Quentin ( 1958 )home and away only stopped when i moved up the Lakes and was working most weekends, still haven't been as many times as some other lads on here though.
Your'e right mate,we all have a little joke with fellow safc fans about our bad results but going out of your way and starting threads about our agony in my opinion is a bit strange.
I have done the whole bit mate, go missing for a couple of days, throw dinners against the wall, days off work, but then I got old I just look forward to the next game and hope I am still alive and kicking to get there
