Though in his later life Gary Breeds, 44, found himself the subject of banning orders, heâs been remembered for his early promise as an England and SAFC youth team member. Football fans took to the Ready To Go forum to pay their respects to Gary, of Fulwell, who played alongside ex-Sunderland stars Richard Ord and Gary Owers. Such was his promise in the sport, Gary was the youngest ever to be capped for England Boys when he was just 15-years-old. He died yesterday after a battle with liver cancer. Played along side him for the U14s when he was a year younger than all of us. Team included Choc Mendonca and Lee Howey. Breedsy was by far the most outstanding talent on the field of play. RIP Gary.

I'm actually from Fulwell, where believe it or not Gary was from. you have reached rock bottom on this one, you are talking about someone i grew up with, went to school with, went to matches with, drank in the Blue Bell and Windmills with.. This was a thread about one of the most gifted player to have ever come out of sunderland...who has sadly died at a young age. Yet you chose this time to carry on. Poor taste.
