A lot on the news about this. So far it has cost me over £250 per goal to watch QPR at home this year, but a bargain £195 per point. Goals and points bring the price down, I'm aiming at something less than £30 by the end of the season, which would give us 26 home points. Don't know what they are on about.
Did I see somewhere that a Season Ticket for Barcelona costs £109 per season ........... Somebody has to pay for the high wages of the players which means us poor suckers.
Ouch! And on reflection 26 home points won't be enough, can't see us getting 14 points away from home if current form is anything to go by. Good news, should bring the cost per point down if we survive! Just add the ST to the lad's tab, settle up when he's 22 (don't forget the interest). OK everyone, what do you think is a fair price to witness a point won at home? I know one thing, a truly innovative leader would charge by points won rather than by games seen.........come on Tone, lets be consumer friendly and avant garde! If I pay, say £25 per home point won for my ST, the team needs to make 31 points for you to break even on current season ticket prices, or just over 1.6 points per home game on average. Anything over that, you're quids in. Take the challenge. I'm quite taken by this idea, payment by results!
Plus the price of drugs aren't getting any cheaper I haven't seen QPR score yet this season .. My only game being Hull at home Villa match may be my first chance
There's no sensible case to be made for attending QPR matches this season being somehow "worth the money". I'm cutting back and will be avoiding any matches which are on live TV. I can watch hapless Rangers getting well beaten for the price of a couple of pints in a pub that's 5 minutes' walk from my house. Less painful all round. This policy starts on Sunday.
Seat ticket in Lower School End against Burnley last February £25....same seat against Stoke last month £35 a 40% hike and Mr Bread thinks that the pricing is fair!!!!! Mind working on Stans principle that works out at £12 per R's goal or £6 when taking in the opposition goals for the ticket for those 2 games.....bargain!!!!! What that doesn't take into account is cost of Petrol, Parking, Flights, Train Tickets, Food and a couple of beers...
I was offered a ticket for the West Ham game by a Hammers-supporting friend, but turned it down because I was confident of how the game would pan out. Imagine watching that dross in the company of opposition fans. TF could have put us out of our misery by acting straight after that game, but instead I will find myself turning up on Sunday with the same sense of resignation. Talking of resignation, how about it 'Arry?
Its a shame players, coaching staff and Managers wages are not done the same way as I think we would be running away with the league by now.
