I think the only reason Higgs is trying to cream anything out of this is because he's had a massive hole burnt in his pocket with the relegation and Nick being a typical business man he's trying to grab every last penny he can before finally admitting defeat.

I just wish he'd move on the whole fiasco has been an embarrassment from the start, we weren't relegated because Wycombe breached some rules! we were relegated because Higgs didn't ever invest into the team and made consistent poor managerial appointments.

For every ****e manager he's brought in they've all played a part in ripping the heart and soul of this club.

Agree - what is the best that could possibly happen now ? We can't get reinstated now, so what's the point ? The only people that can win out of this are the lawyers as usual. Let's spend the money on getting out of this division, not on legal fees.

Totally agree with others that this is becoming even more embarrassing now, we ended up where we did last season because we deserved to - end of! At last we seem to be making the best of a bad job and currently in a reasonably good position to put things right hopefully at the first attempt. All this will do is wreak of sour grapes and even desperation and apart from making us a laughing stock in some quarters, it will detract from the good things we are currently achieving and will re-introduce an air of negativity around the club.

Yeah, and didn't this little indescretion on behalf of The Chairboys happen around four seasons ago ? I fail to see if this was the case why anything was brought up in the first instance. I think most level headed Rovers fans know the reason why the club got relegated last term and that was without beating about the bush because basically we were CRAP.

A nasty little whiff of sour grapes hangs over this sorry little tale from where I stand.

If he is just after money(Which I think everybody's thinking) the why can't he just go about it away from the press, most rovers fans don't want to know it and sooner forget about it.

if this was on the OS then i would agree with you. but its come from the post. so im guessing higgs just answered a question that the post asked. Maybe they asked him what he intends to do next following the FA decision and higgs answered it which the post thought was worth a story <ok>

Rovers, who were officially notified of the ruling by the Football League last week, are believed to be angered by the leniency of the punishment and have instructed their lawyers to investigate the chances of launching a successful legal challenge to get the ruling overturned.

Are we sure that this isn't a case of the gutter press making up a story which may or may not be true?

Right to raise it in the first place, but now time to move on and concentrate on getting back in the league
