6 months on and still no plan

Keegan has since come out and said that after his famous speech on the steps after selling Cole that he didn't have a plan, he had no idea who was going to replace him. Having said that I think people should be a little more patient, start the moaning threads when its August 31st and we haven't signed anyone else and we've sold the whole squad.

Can you see Carroll getting 20 goals plus at Liverpool? I know I can't, only 2 players scored more than 20 last season, Berbatov and Tevez.

 

All could become great players however only 1 of them has premiership experience [12 games] infact.
Its not easy to gel in to a new country and a new team

 

No but I can see him getting 15-18, and a midfield with Ben Arfa, Cabaye and Barton being free to get forward and score, along with Shola and whoever else we bring in scoring a few. Ba's got a goal every other game in his career and the service to him here will be better than anywhere he's been previously.

You are saying that the board haven't got a clue because we are linked with different type of players.

Who do you think actually does the linking? 99.9% of the time it's lazy journalism and/or agents trying to generate interest.

We haven't even released our away strip yet, season is (unfortunately) still a long way off.

Lets start worrying on 31st August when we bring Sibierski out of retirement and get Solano back for another stint

 

Sometimes I think people think 20 goal a season strikers grow on trees. 20 goals tallies have only been achieved 50 times since the EPL began, that something like 2.6 players per season.

I don't know if these people have noticed but were aren't a top four club so we don't have the signing power that comes with it. Stop banging on about us signing players who are proven to be capable of doing this, they are currently out of our league.

The ironic thing is that it is the doom mongerers who claim we are to blind to seeing the failings in the MA plan, who are the same ones who spread the delusion that there are loads of these 20 goals a season strikers around and that we should be signing one of them.

 

I know it's much more comforting to be negative but honestly mate, glass half full is the way to go if you want to actually enjoy life. Let the men in charge do the worrying, not saying surrender your opinion but we've made signings with great potential and have no idea what the next few months will hold so just sit back and enjoy the ride.

 

The problem is with you DONKEY TOON you are so far up Ashleys arse to realise that to go out and find a decent forward you need to spend money which goes against your masters remit not looking for freebies or players who are cheap due to recent injury concerns

 

Ok chum! Tevez and Berbatov both got 20 last season they were the only ones that managed it. Which one do you want to sign, how much do you think it will cost, what are the wages going to be and how the **** are we going to convince him to join us when we can't offer european football???

The thing you need to learn cumnugget is that there is a very big difference between an idea and a plan. Any twat can have an idea but to put it into operation you need a plan and the intelligence and discipline to carry it out.

Well answer the question. You and others keep on about the fact that we have to buy a proven 20 goal a season striker but who are we going to sign?

Maybe go for Van Persie instead he got 18 so he was almost there. Do you think he'll leave Arsenal for us?

The days of us breaking the bank trying to sign these guys are behind us. Get over it and change the bloody record!!
