Isla and Vargas both playing. This is a win win for me. If Peru win that's great to put one over the old enemy. If Isla and Vargas have confidence boosting performances then that's only good for the hoops! I'll keep you posted! Vamos Peruuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!! 18 mins gone and we haven't got out of our half, Isla had Chile's first decent chance...
Typical, Alexi Sánchez delightful pass over back 4 to Vargas, not offside, dinks it past the keeper, good finish 1 0 Chile
The Qpr comparisons continue, we're down to 10 men, Diakite style sending off and we've just missed a one-on-one with goalie after Chilean howler in defense, not Isla, other wing-back, blasted over when seemed easier to score!!!!
3 0!!!!!!!! Isla crosses and Vargas unmarked lovely finish - must admit we are defending like Qpr, good confidence boost for Vargas though!
I just tuned in on this stream, but missed the goals. Vargas 17 goals in 36 games - wish he could do that for us! http://www.vipleague.sx/football/256109/1/chile-vs-peru-live-stream-online.html
Don't like seeing Vargas just fouled twice - his knee buckled? Might be out? No it's the Peru player, was worried for a moment.
Sorry Kilburn, when it went to 3 0 I got distracted, will check my el comercio live txt stream to see what it says - no mention. Here's link with goals embedded: http://elcomercio.pe/deporte-total/...sampaoli-minuto-minuto-noticia-1763136?flsm=1
I see before he was subbed he got flattened in the penalty area attempting an overhead kick and initially got up holding his shoulder - we don't need him injured when he is definitely in good form.
Perhaps we should have picked up Gary Medel, the Pit Bull, from Cardiff rather than our so called Beast Sandro?
All over 3 0... just looked up and there's a sports quiz on: Ex-Chelsea player playing at Man City? Even I know that one! Thank you and good night!
According to this: http://uk.soccerway.com/matches/2014/10/11/world/friendlies/chile/peru/1883001/?ICID=HP_MS_01_02 Chile are playing in a 3-4-1-2 formation with Isla wide right of the midfield four and Vargas upfront with Sanchez. You can virtually guarantee Harry will try and shut up shop against Liverpool so these two will be on the bench. The bloke has no vision at all...
Agreed. I actually think Vargas could be our surprise package, but I fear he won't get much of a chance with Harry in charge. Great to hear he got two goals.
Harry just doesn't know how to or can't manage to or couldn't be arsed to get the best out of the talent we have. Maybe electric shock therapy might jolt the bugger into life.
