Do you know the whereabout of any of our past players?. I will start with Phil Babb. Philip Andrew "Phil" Babb (born 30 November 1970) is a former professional footballer who played as a central defender. He is currently the manager of Conference South side Hayes & Yeading United in the sixth tier of English football. He made over 370 league appearances during his career, which included spending six Premier League seasons with Liverpool, and also playing in the top flight for Coventry City and Sunderland. He also played in Portugal for Sporting Clube de Portugal and in the Football League for Bradford City and Tranmere Rovers. Babb represented the Republic of Ireland at the 1994 World Cup, playing in 35 internationals. Do you have any one in mind?
Djimi Traore (born St Davids day, 1980) is playing in the US for Seattle Sounders FC. In Seattle, so presumably drinking a lot of coffee and getting rained on a lot; probably, having experimental gay sex and watching bizarre street artists paint their bodies with slugs dipped in body paints*! * That entire sentence is purely speculative. Since leaving Liverpool he has traveled around a lot. Been to Charlton, Portsmouth, Rennes, Birmingham City (poor sod), AS Monaco, Marseille before finally arriving in Seattle. Hasn't stayed more than a couple of seasons at any club since us. Once clubs discover how special he is, they realise he is too good for them and moves on. Apparently at Seattle, Traoré has scored a couple of really spectacular long range goals- must be the caffeine! No mention of being married or having kids on the wiki- so that means any ladies that want to handle his errant tackle, looks like he is free for you to seduce!
Our Djimi's wonder goal. Don't know of another one- unless you're counting this cracker:
Veggard Heggem - Heggem is currently the owner and manager of the salmon fishing business Aunan Lodge on the river Orkla in Sør-Trøndelag.[3] He is also an official patron of AFC Liverpool, an independent football club owned and run by Liverpool supporters. He is also a regular at Liverpool home matches, and was also at the 2005 UEFA Champions League Final in Istanbul. In February 2012, the AGM of Rosenborg elected Vegard Heggem as a member of the board for a period of two years.
Torben Piechnik - He has worked as both a real estate agent and masseur, while still playing "Old Boys" football in Denmark. Istvan Kozma - From season 2006-07, he was working as an assistant manager at Vasas SC. Jimmy Carter - Carter has recently appeared for Arsenal in the Masters Cup Football competition for veteran players shown live on Sky Sports. He also plays for the Arsenal Charity Team, a team of ex Arsenal players and celebrities.
Suso: Jesús JoaquÃn Fernández Sáez de la Torre, born 19 November 1993 is actually still at Liverpool. Whilst this might come as a surprise to some, it is true that he still exists and occupies the #30 shirt in our team.
Some of Suso's forerunners for the "false savior/Next Michael Owen" position: Craig Lindfield: Lindfield, the kid who was going to dominate the world for us, is now 26. He has travelled the country playing for such great teams as Macclesfield, Accrington Stanley, Kidderminster, CHESTER, and now plays for FC United of Scumchester. (I guess Lindfield was the next Owen afterall) Krisztian Nemeth: Another former Suso, this "kid" is now 25. He's a free agent, bring him back to replace Borini, Lambert or Balotelli anyone? He's been to Olympiacos, but they didn't like him either and loaned him to Budapest and Waalwijk. He last played for the mighty team, Roda JC Kerkrade. Daniel Pacheco Lobato, perhaps the most recent Suso (before Suso) is now 23 and warming the bench for Real Betis. After loaning out for 4 teams during his Liverpool career he went to Alcorcon for a year before his current team. The oldest "Suso" on this list though- is the former superstar "Neil Mellor" AKA "Fat Gerrard". Mellor is a whopping 31 now. He had a long career at Preston scoring 38 goals in 130 starts!
As none of the above can get a game at a big club, it seems perhaps our management are not so thick after all.
David Johnson drinks loads of Guinness in Shennagins in town, but he doesn't actually live or work there.
How dare linfield, how dare he Real bet is is a good step up for Pacheco Anyone wondering where le tallec and pongolle are now
Glenn Hysen – central defender Member of Liverpool last title winning team Saw out playing days in his native Sweden with GAIS before retiring. Worked as a commentator in Sweden and Norway before becoming co-head coach of Swedish second division side, Utsiktens BK. His son Anton was one of the first footballers to publicly announce he is gay.
Roy Keanes Beard - Gone into some rubbish bin Its all some bint from newstalk's fault for asking him 8f he'd shave it off and Roy rather flirtatiously replied "I will if you want me to." The bitch said "yes I do" Its rumoured the beard will return to work with Roy again at some point in the future.
