    Hi guys

I am a Liverpool fan but I live in East Anglia and so I believe I have an insight into NCFC / ITFC rivalry.

Basically what I have to say is this: why is there a rivalry in the first place? They are a City, you are a Town. They are in the PL, you are in the lower leagues. They are a bigger club with more history, you maybe not so much.

Now I like Ipswich, I like them a lot. But don't give me this rivalry thing, you should just be proud of your club and town and leave it there, surely?

Feedback gratefully received, keen to get some views - real fans only though pls, no WUMs.

Ah ok true they are now in the Championship but lets face it they are doing pretty well aren't they. And my other points still stand.

Anyway - chill out, no offense intended, just keen to get some thoughts on this.

    Cheers

So UA, your very first post, this time round, is on the Norwich board saying you hope we get back into the Prem, then 3 or 4 posts later, on our rivals board, you tell them that we are in the PL!

But of course, you're not wumming! <doh>

JWM - don't be like that. The inspiration for your user name was a Pool player, (albeit one of the not so great ones, always tried though). So we have a connection.

I was at the Derby and let me tell you I thought I was at Carrow Lane in terms of the noise.

So are Newcastle and Middlesboro - is that too not a derby match?

Nope its not.....not in the same way that Newcastle and Sunderland is. The equivalent of Norwich v Ipswich is Forest v Doncaster or something.

So that's why the East Anglian Derby has been voted as the second most bitter rivalry in English football.

    Nice attempt at Wumming though!

I don't doubt the antagonism and bitterness between the fans, but its not a Derby match
