VAUTOUR now as big as 9/1 at Paddy Power for the Arkle at Cheltz Fest, 5/1 elsewhere and they've been pushing him out over the past few days. Problems ? Staying hurdling ?
Oooops bollocks it had slipped so far down the non-stickied threads I didn't see it. Sorry attivo, I shall correct immediately
Threads merged now - sorry attivo, I just didn't see yours this morning. I was obviously still half asleep
Connections probably watched the replays of his wins and noticed how he is a much better hurdler than Faugheen and therefore their best Champion Hurdle horse (which I've been saying all summer btw )
I love this time of year - all the anticipation of the NH season (and, unfortunately the first disappointments with news of injured horses out for the season - notably Defy Logic and O'Faolains Boy)
I copy & paste previous day's thread, forgot to change the name to Tramore, thanks for correcting. Good Luck!
on line at last-- Stick, good luck with your horse , just seen the replay, potential there , you must be excited--glad all went well. done a lucky 15 today on some chancey horses in some chancey races , Ronald Gee -4 40 ayr--Lee keeps the faith@6/1 El Macca 4 00 Wor - Curtis and AP -@4/1 JaJa de Jau --from the superb honeyball yard--would be more confident if rachel green was riding 7/2 Premio Loco -- sentiment makes me back him --in a class 4 !!-- any ability left, he should laugh at these 5/1 good luck all --
Ayr 310 dark opal looks to be the one to side with but with odds stacked up against me im going to side with a jockey on a worse losing streak than me , but this does have its advantage the odds are vastly increased lol.Garry Whilliams claims a handy 5lbs that may come in very handy today as he takes the apptly named OPT OUT for a spin(with my record of late look at the sign). Anyway opt out last won wearing a visor and im pretty sure it has not been wore since, today they are applying blinkers for the first time the weight is nice the distance is perfect and the conditions will suit. Then returning to a class 6 only bolsters there claim .
Ayr 340 bearskin takes a drop in class the conditions will be ideal the weight is questionable but Mcdonald has plenty of experince with the bear . With ew odds on the table earlier it was very good value in my eyes and worth every bit of risk.
As rudebwoy pointed out the withdrawal of opt out i will have to side with a horse with a worst streak than me lol. LATIN REBEL looks placed nicely in the 440and Bartly takes of a handy 3lbs also , harrison cave is a fav that is opposable in what looks quite a tight race lto latin was 2l behind harris , harris was carrying 8.13 that day but today goes out with 9.7 latin also goes out with 7lbs extra than that day but looks much better treated. The main reason though is the lovely jockey that day bartly droped his whip so we could well see a reverse in the pecking order
