http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ew-Manchester-United-boss-Louis-van-Gaal.html Its the first time Fergie has spoke about Van Gaal.
You were a wrongly ruled out goal from drawing with WHam and a De Gea worldie from losing to Everton who had been to Russia a few days before. Not sure Fergie can hail him as brilliant yet, spent a lot and recruited best players? Sure, much as I dilslike you I have always thought, 'well they have been succesful and won titles'. Now you just look like all the other oil money clubs from your deseration this summer Hailing his brilliance is premature. Maybe his retirement has allowed him more free time to raid his drinks cabinet
So what you are saying is we beat two clubs you only managed a draw and a hammering against! No oil money at our club mate, all earnt by performance Maybe the "brilliant" quote refers to his eye for a player who will fit the club or maybe his training methods. As you quite rightly say it is a bit too early to say it about results or tactics.
Still not worked out who you are yet. Do you think Brendan will manage to pull your lot round this season or has the loss of Suarez killed him?
I think it is the **** DR himself. Swarbs or any of the mods can check out his IP and reveal the ****.
Well admitted mate. Best players recruited by LVG. Not the awful mediocrity Brenda squandered all the rat money on. None of the players bought by the RS were any better than the squad they had. Reminds us of their selling Alonso to buy aquilani. That is why they are called ******ed in the football world
I think what's bloody annoying (as a Chelsea fan), is that you are not playing particularly well (consistently), your back 3/4/5 (or whatever) looks poor, you have loads of players out.......yet you are still 4th in the table!
Good point. It shows (like the RS showed last season) that the attack is more important than the defence. The 3 points a win system means that scoring goals can mask other deficiencies in the team. But score early in the first half and cling on in the 2nd half is a risky strategy like LVG has already identified. United need to score more at the end of matches.
How would other teams be doing if their three first choice centre halves were injured? Who would Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal play at centre half if they were in a similar position and how would they get on? The general consensus is that Jones, Smalling and Evans are ****e which is of course bollocks and our defence will improve when two out of the three are available and playing in a system they are familiar with.
That's what we used to do under SAF as well, and was what set us apart from all others. When we played well we would pick up points, just like Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle or whoever else was challenging us for the title. But when they played badly they would drop points, whilst when we had a bad spell we'd still pick up enough points to make the difference more often than not. So even when we weren't having a great season, or didn't have the same quality of players as other teams, we still won enough to be there or there abouts pretty much every season. Compare that with Moyes, where when we played badly we lost. To anyone. Every game. If LVG can bring back our tradition of getting the results we need, even when we aren't at our best, then he'll have basically succeeded already.
Both sides were lucky not to be 4 or 5 down before they managed to striny two passes together so give up with the bullshit.
Sticks and stones etc, so harsh, this really upset me In English please ****** See above, but without the ****** bit
By insisting that he wasn't offside you are just making yourself look like a thick and bitter dipper.
