Who mentioned anyone by name? Only you, but it was only a matter of time before you came back to try your hand. It's pathetic, but keep on trying. There has only been one post that is belligerent or antagonistic and that is your own. Nowt more boring that a grammar ponce on forums, but it suits you. <ok>

(To Fuz; the QUOTE fell down a hole.)
How shallow and patronising! Now, where have I seen those words before? How many more times can you recycle slight variants of that last sentence? Do you have a little book of witty aphorisms to use as random insults? I suppose being a 'grammar ponce' beats being an Ainthorpe nonce, though, dunnit? Keep up the good work! (Repeat ad infinitum.)

Sounds like a great idea for the current area.

Oh, wait, the Labour council prefer a dustbowl. And he may make a bit of money too... How dare he?

What are you on, you daft sod? I thought your bombastic scientific post on the Isis thread was bizarre, but this takes the biscuit. Are you really still in a childish huff because you got proven wrong about your impeccable poetry knowledge? Be good and go away like the daft lad you are. :emoticon-0112-wonde

Huh? Say what? Show me the 'bombastic' post you think you're citing, then, when you realise you've just continued your apparently endless list of mistakes, you can apologise ... if your feet can reach the ground from up there on that very high horse of yours. Also, repeating another point you've chosen to overlook, are you Ghurkin in disguise? The similarities to his supercilious style of writing--including his perennial 'daft lad' attempt at a put-down--are quite uncanny. (Any other posters noticed that?)
I'm surprised you failed to recognise that my previous post related to one of your earlier attempts to mock another poster--a much more frequent one than I--whose reaction was simply to block you. Have no fear, I won't be doing that; your bombastic bullshine is too funny to miss ... much like Ghurkin's.

Who the chuff is this Ghurkin? So far me and Fez have been accused of being him, despite wildly different views and posting styles. That said, we'd both spell it Gherkin...

Ghurkin was a "notorious" poster on the Hull City Online messageboard, there was only one correct view (his) & if you disagreed you would be continually put down with comments like "daft lad" rather than any reasoned argument against what you had written. His posting style was that he was superior & knew more about everything than you did

It's quite clear that neither are Ghurkin.

How many times has the man said "I'm doing this for the community. i want to give something back". He said the very same message last week on national tv seen around the world by millions. So explain to me how he achieves this by moving the club 10 miles away from its current community to an area not only outside of the city but in a completely different local authority area?

As someone who jousted with him for a year or so on HullCityMad you are both innocent of this charge. On that forum my wife believed Ghurkin also doubled as another that also posts here.

I see on here a couple of posters who have some similarity to his posting style and debating technique.

Considering your profile description you are coming across as a bit of a fool, in fact you seem to be trying quite hard to do so.

    But to respond fairly:

Now I have no idea who this Ghurkin is but I think it more likely he has reinvented himself as some Bellend from Bengal or the Cincinnati Kid! Please feel free to do my grammar check for me, as it is always good to find work for those in need. <ok>

There's not a cat in hells chance of a stadium being built at Melton and hull City playing in it.
Man will probably walk on 'Mars' before that happens

As he is so fond of saying, when he says something he means it.

Obviously except "I'll walk away within 24 hours", "I'll give the club away for free" or "I'm doing this for the community...."

    Yeah!! Indeed
He may be rich in our eyes but funding a stadium that'll cost well in excess of £100 million is a complete non starter

The thing is, except in the very early days of the HCC refusal (but did they, as did he ever make an offer?), has he ever mentioned building a stadium again? He paid a few grand for an artists impression and he waffled around the potential, but other than that, what have we had?
