The sad thing is he doesn't know very well supporting a football team is not like that. He doesn't have a clue about what supporting a football team entails.
Iv'e thought long and hard about this. What on earth is he up to ? I'm no Allam hater, in fact i want to love him. But the only sensible conclusion i can come up with, is he's just plain stubborn. Religiously so. He may have been here in Hull for most of his life, but he is clearly of a different cultural way of thinking. He has very strict principals, and i'm afraid he is prepared to cut off his nose.... Parnaby ? Well he's just a ****
WHY don't you talk a bit of sense for a change and try harder to get things right? I would check back and read the statement you are quoting. What I actually said was that if the name change went through that would be me finished supporting a club since 1958. Since the answer was NO from the FA I purchased my season ticket for this season because I was still able to support HULL CITY. Now do try and keep up you f.cking fool.
Spot on. That's why I kinda forgive him for some of the s**t he comes out with. To call him our worst owner ever is completely moronic. Primarily because of where he's brought us but also because it doesn't seem like he's going to get his way in regards to the name, so no real damage done as far as I can see, apart from his relationship with the fans, although I don't really give two s**ts about that frankly. Some on here seem to think owners should be their best buds. Most of them are assholes for **** sake, wake up. Looks like he'll leave and hopefully he doesn't sell the entire team along the way. If not then it will have been a very successful tenure for someone who knows nothing about football and he'll leave a club in a decent shape (on the pitch at least) to the following owners. I know some hate the guy so much they're not concerned about this but I really think we could end up with a lot worse than him. Whatever happens with the club I really hope the transition is smooth and we don't end up with someone worse. Trust me there could be. Who is to say the next owner won't have the same dumb idea. Or wants to change our colours instead. Or doesn't want to spend a penny on players. Or raises ticket prices a ton. The list of potentially worse scenarios is much bigger. At least AA isn't getting his own way but still providing for the team. Not sure why people are moaning. It's a win win at the moment and may not be for longer
After supporting Hull City AFC since 1946 I a bit fed up of the argument of name change and the OTT. remarks from for and against including the generous but misguided Dr. Therefore from today I am noting all the names and comments on this subject for the time I leave this life, ( I am in my eighties) then I am going to visit all of you in turn in the hope I can shut you up with ghostly intent. Be warned. PS but not just yet I hope.
I'm sorry man,but you seem to have completely misunderstood me. Let me try to help you understand. I will never accept the name change. We are Hull city, and should that ever change, i won't have a club at all. If that has to be the way, so be it.
It's about time some you ****ers stood by your convictions like Bummers and Kempers and stopped going to games if it bothers you that much and you feel that strongly about it. Moan, moan and ****ing moan but that's about as much as you do. Laughable really.
Exactly, he waited for renewals to be in before he started acting up again. In retrospect, it was an error to hope it might be over. It's never going to go away is it? So I expect I won't be renewing next year. Live and learn.
Anyway, I thought he was going to drop the whole name change thing because he upped the season pass prices. Another ****ing lie.
I listen to that and all I can think is that he has a buyer lined up and he is getting as much abuse in as possible before he/it becomes a nothing story.
Once again Carmine who doesn't want the name to change is having a go at those who don't want the name to change. Not only that but you're recycling Patty's crap argument.
"I don't chant the name of Greggs when the woman hands over my sausage roll." This did make me laugh a lot, can just imagine it.
SO have you it seems I'm not agreeing about the name change but about him being a stubborn tit with unalterable cultural differences.
Erm.....I don't buy pies, beer or any other shyte from the food concessions I don't even buy a programme these days I don't bother with the club shop
