Big words again from TF but directed at WHO ? The fans - needs to really address what's straight in front of him , the calamities going on all around him ala the Coaching set up , the lack of tactical awareness , the money being exploited off him , the failure to proactively address major failures such as selling Danny Simpson and to have bought before Remy went - total mess. Stick with Redknapp and the biggest calamity is yet to come

"to have bought before Remy went"""

didn't you read what he said ?? Remy was signing an extension then signed for Chelsea on the last few days of the window. So what would you have done ?? I suppose you knew Remy was going and would have had a replacement already in. As TF says it's easy when you are sitting at home !!

remy was linked with half the premiership before he left
(to a team I don't even remember him being linked with)
how long before he left was he offered a new contract
how long does it take to talk to your advisors and agree if its a good contract or not
everyone knew he was off to bigger and better things(champions league) it was what he wanted
everyone except the owners/management that is

I don't believe if we had retained Remy it would make a blind bit of difference at the moment. We play almost all of our games in the first 3rd of our own half. There is no working system at the moment to feed Remy (or indeed, lonely old Charlie) as evidenced by 4 goals in 600 odd minutes of football. I also think Remy was clearly uninterested in staying with us, which was patently obvious to me from his sloping body language and lack of effort in our game against Hull. It really beggars belief that the owners/management would fail to have a proper contingency plan for the (highly likely) event that Remy would not sign an extension, something everyone on here seemed perfectly aware of.

Aside from one lucky goal at Wembley, hugely against the run of play, we have suffered prolonged examples of lifeless, dull and sad capitulation from the Hughes and Redknap era. The fans and TF really deserve more.

As in any business PLAN B needs to be clearly in place before the inevitable happens , we were sadly lacking in this as we did not have any plan B. Most supporters had seen the signs , heard the clubs who were after him , hanging on to someone who did not want to be here was a big error , this is unfortunately only the tip of the ice berg

It would be deemed fair to give any manager who has just been promoted a season to prove if he can keep a team up in the top flight and prove he can manage effectively in the Premier League -

Unless of course said Manager is already supposed to be one of England's top managers, with a track record of managing a top 6 side and was at one stage considered a shoo in for the England job. Furthermore, when that manager was brought in to a Premier League club which was struggling early enough to do something about it and failed to keep them up, then you could argue that the chances of things being any better this time around being anything other than slim.

If Harry was concerning himself more with retirement and a life of golf the morning of the Wembley Playoff Final and not thinking about where the team was going to be next season then that speaks volumes for the appetite he has left for the game. As my dad says "the old dog for the hard road", but sometimes the old dog does not have enough fight left in it to do an effective job.

So it would probably be fair to say then just give Harry 10 or 11 games to show his intent for the season.

7 down, four to go. Four points.

Next four games: Liverpool, Villa, Chelsea, Man City.

    11 games 5-8 points max.

    Harry goes.

So why prolong the agony. Get rid NOW, whilst there is a real chance of finding someone who has a balance of competence and desire and who will actually take some responsibility as a manager instead of wheeling out the same old tired excuses week after week, excuses which he does not realize, or if he does, does not care, make him look a bumbling, bungling, miserable old sod, outdated and out of touch.

The team aren't fit enough eh Harry?

    You're not fit enough.

    Just go.

    Now.

Perhaps he was calling himself & the rest of the board "Armchair" Critics.

Perhaps he was referring to Neviulle & Souness.

After all, he couldn't have been referring to us as he always states how great we are!

The possibility that many would buy the rubbish he spouts about the sale of Remy must come from the same speech writer that HR uses!
