On this day...

I lost a lot of respect for Beckham when he retired to the USA to promote 'Brand Beckham'.

 

A woman I work with has met the Beckham's a fair few times (through one of their sons) and she says how nice and normal they both are. She says VB is lovely with the kids and not at all like the miserable woman in the photos.

 

I earned mine.

 

Fabulous memory. I'm going to the San Marino game on Thursday. Not sure I will have equally fabulous memories...but it's been a few months since I've been to Wembley ;-)

 

Like Cliff Richard etc.

 

Not a lot of people know that the Beckams secretly pay for families of disabled kids to do all sorts of things. They just do it, no fuss, no photographers or press around, a cheque falls on the mat and that's it.

 

I bought my Doctorate, too. Me and Assem, eh? What a pair of old phoneys........
