"Carragher's right, all these agents now a days just talk so they can thrash our lucrative deals for players" Wtf does the daft prick think agents have done ever since they were introduced? Gotta respect Carragher's intent, but he is a daft prick. All he's done is confirmed that the agent's tactics are working, and Liverpool are flapping like **** so he can probably get Sterling's contract quadrupled if he keeps it up.
The RS are so dependent on the quid that they will give him any contract he demands. The agent realises that and that is his ****ing job. If he doesn't get offered a 150k contract he should move away...
If Sterling leaves Liverpool for Real before he's 23-24 he's a fool. He's nothing like good enough right now. In today's market we'd be looking £30-50m for a 19 year old who's won nothing too - insanity.
he is now your mini-Rat. If you lose him, you lose most of the pace in the team. and you get £30m -£50m , brenda squanders it on strengthening the squad with2 or 3 £10m-£15m players. #squeakybumtime
People always have a go at the agents, but all they are doing is doing there job. It is the players who instruct there agents to get them as much money as possible, whilst the players hide behind them, as if it isn't them being greedy. When you look at some of the latest deals for Liverpool players, like Sturridge on 150k a week, then Sterling should be atleast on a par with him, as he's a better player than Sturridge IMO. His age is irrelevant, if he's producing the goods, then why should age matter? If Liverpool want to keep there best players, then they're gonna have to give into the wage demands, as other clubs will quite happily pay them. Liverpool are obviously already trying to tighten the purse strings, after they've already been investigated by FFP, and with all the money waisted on crap players in the summer, it's looking like it's going to be a tough period for them financially. I can only watch and laugh
Considering we bought him for £1 mil that's a nice profit, but yeah I agree - he would simply be a bench warmer. They're more than likely wait for the demise of Ronaldo and then spend £100 mil on him
