    Even though I love America and its wonderful contribution to our arts and literature, the over hyped crap they have dumped on us constantly since about 1980 I can do without. I prefer to struggle along with our partners in Europe even if it means sub-titles as they can also do drama without the gloss finish, car chases and explosions.

    He should have asked someone intelligent and they could have told him Star Treks creator Gene Roddenberry quite rightly thought the need for Gods invented by some goat herders would have died out, and we were all intelligent atheists in the future.
    Roddenberry insisted writers didn't add any of this mystical crap in Star Trek. <ok>
