This can be done from October onwards if people want to. I thought of it myself but thought it would end up being the focal point of COTM with discussion and award practically all being done and dusted before the actual poll, making the real thing nowt more than dead rubber. I'm willing to give it a trial next month see how it goes?
Secondly, it's not a silly poll.[/QUOTE] You are right its not a silly poll, its a stupid and abusive. (I shouldn't have responded really.)
This thread shows the inteligence of some of our football teams so called fans. They are a sad lot having to sink to a low level.
I know, I nearly left the booers out as I was certain they would be a landslide victory. Sadly they fully deserve their place for when they sank to that low level as you said.
Can I ask that Daniel Jones of Chesterfield FC is added to Octobers list? 20 seconds in for details. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zmcmMELOaw
Those people booing aren't scum, aren't a disgrace and are just another target for the soapbox hysterics to channel their frustration and unhinged anger. I don't agree with their booing because it doesn't help the team or the atmosphere but the sentiments of their booing is 'please don't protest during the game because it can have a negative impact on the pitch, especially after Steve Bruce has previously said as much in a press conference.' which is obviously hypocritical because it does the same thing. 6 of one and half a dozen of the other. CTID/CTWD song is now no longer the song it previously was and has now become a hijacked song with a different undertone. But the name of the club has been hijacked also. Why is the vocal objection from the North stand? Previously East corner?
What on earth is CITW? Oh, and "City Till I Die" is surely a song about our club and, inevitably, our name.
How pedantic when it was clearly a typo. The song has been hijacked and thus conjures different connotations to what it did a few years back before this whole debacle.
Don't you check what you're about to post? And it's the club's name that is being hi-jacked. All we are doing is defending.
Fancy explaining how the chant has changed? Because as I can work out: Before AAs idiocy: City Til I Die = I will support Hull City until I die After AAs idiocy: City Til I Die = I will support Hull City until I die Please explain the difference.
I reckon he did us a favour. He broke up their decent passages of play by trying to be niggly. His team mates won't be impressed.
He actually did us a favour, he lost sight of what he was there to do, and was hell bent on winding everyone up. In the end did nothing in the game apart from kick people.
