I forgot how ****ing dirty Chelsea are - cynical fouls everywhere, timewasting, play-acting, kicking the ball away whenever Arsenal have a free-kick or throw. People say that Arsenal should learn to 'play dirty' but if this is what it looks like, I'd rather not.
Would probably take off Ozil for Oxo. Cazorla and Jack are doing well enough creativity wise in the middle we just need more penetration on Ozil's flank.

Chambers booked for bumping into someone. Cahill not sent off for a two footed lunge. No card for oscar despite head butting koscielny and making at least three or four very obvious tactical fouls when he has been beaten, plus a reckless lunge. How he has no card is totally beyond me.
Also, the commentators are giving us ZERO credit here. We are one down but it could easily be 0-0 here. Chelsea have barely had a sight on goal; all of their pressure has come from free-kicks which we've dealt with. Costa's name hasn't even been mentioned. Chelsea have ripped teams a part here all season and we look quite comfortable. We need to stop giving the ball away on the halfway line though as it's inviting pressure on Chambers and co. Chambers and Kos could easily see red in the game if our midfield keep being so bloody carefree with the ball.
This Oxo will run at them and try to go past players, Ozil is just running into a brick wall and losing the ball
They also looked the likelier to score every minute of the game. This is no Chelsea vs Barca at the Champs. league. They may be cautious, but in no way are we doing something better offensively.
Oh and the stupid **** ref has twice got in the way of the ball when we are on the counter. Total ****.
We've gotten into good positions a few times, but players seem to what the ball to be perfectly in line on their better foot to shoot! Cazorla had a chance, but rather than bursting forwards a bit further and smashing it, he stopped and looked for a pass, even though no one was in a better position than him. Ozil also had a chance when Wilshere burst forwards, but didn't want to take the shot, just passed it back out of the box again. Its ridiculous how allergic our players are to shooting. Also, Cahill should have seen red for that tackle on Alexis, and Oscar should definitely have a yellow for repeated fouling. Chelsea getting away with a lot with this ref.
Honestly had Atkinson not given Chamber that f**ing ridiculous yellow he'd have taken out Hazard outside the box and we'd have been facing a FK then and not a penalty. And how the **** has Oscar not been booked nor Cahill been sent off?
Bit unlucky to be a goal down really. We've played as well as Chelsea. But we have to get the ball to the striker quicker, this endless passing around on the edge of the area is going to end up with us conceding on the break. As mentioned, Ox for Ozil. Ox will give us the direct penetration we need.
I think we've defended really well, kept a good shape, looked lively at times going forward and been clever in terms of when we get men forward and when we sit back. It hasn't quite come together yet but we have had some good passages of play. Need to have a few shots at goal though. A real shame to be down to a penalty. don't think hazard would of got through if chambers hadn't been given the very soft yellow card. Still very much in the game, we've given a good account of ourselves in the physical side of the game, now we need to go and get a goal. It could still go either way.
I hate to agree with a commentator but Danny Mills said earlier that if Arsenal aren't countering, we look uncomfortable on the ball. There's no endgame - whenever we get into the penalty area or around it we seem surprised and then pass back to somebody on the wing (or get crowded out)! Welbeck is drifting to the wings to pick up the ball which leaves nobody in the box so we end up cutting back, passing around and then losing the ball. We actually miss Giroud in games like this. There, i said it.
