Can we afford to be sympathetic? Likewise with Ferdinand. Onouha has to come in.

They wouldn't be dropped even if it wasn't the West Ham game...

Think it's time to play McCarthy this Sunday. Clint for Rio for me and Ned for Isla as well away there.

    McCarthy
    Ned Caulker Clint Traore
    Fer Henry
    Vargas Nico Hoillet
    Charlie

for me. OBZ, Phillips, Sandro, Isla, Rio, Green among the ones on the Bench.

I am guessing Barton, Much, Adel and Yun aren't fit yet.

That would get my vote Oslo. Don't think it'll happen sadly.

I think people are being way to Hard on Green, he didn't have a bad game last weekend, I'd also leave Isla in who also showed improvement , no arguments about Rio though. Would be happy if Clint took his place but would prefer Ned in there, think we need some pace there against West Ham. Rest of the team looks good Oslo.

Green should have saved for their first mate. It went straight through him.
McCarthy is a better keeper imo.

I was thinking we needed Ned's speed and solid defensive ability at RB at West Ham, but I agree Isla gives us far better attacking options, and hopefully he is and will improve defensively. If Isla plays then I'd be happy with Ned at CB alongside Caulker. But as Matt says Arry will probably play Rio and Green again, and Sandro for Henry who Arry seems to only use as a last resort. I reckon his performances as Sub lately should make the place his for Sunday at least.

I agree and he would be disappointed but through the game he came out well, took crosses and saved us on more than one occasion. I agree he is on slippery slope but for me gets the benefit of the doubt.

Can't believe all this negative crap about Green. Some people on here have very selective memories!

A lot of experts on McCarthy here. Hope he doesn't have a bad game and become the latest scapegoat.

He's a very average PL goalkeeper. Murphy and McCarthy must fancy their chances of getting the shirt.

Allardyce will target Isla tomorrow, he's very good at exploiting other sides weaknesses. They will put him under pressure, causing mistakes and get plenty of crosses in from that side.

Unless we play 3-5-2, which is the only formation we have the right players for.

We got Isla and we were going to play 3 5 2. So now we play 4 at the back we got Ned. Simples.
